The Bully's Hated Mate
The Bully’s Hated Mate – Chapter 19

LUCIUS’ POV:

The ride to the event took less time than I had planned in my head with Ariadne.

Ofcourse, Cassia didn’t know about the plan or that I had spoken to Ariadne for that matter, and she wasn’t going to know.

Today wasn’t really about the arts or some dumb kids who thought they had something for art.

It was about getting Cassia to leave, to stay away from me as fast as she could in the fastest time possible. Today was a surprise.

The car came to a stop at the gigantic house. One of my classmates had decided to host the event where they would bring the shortest and probably sluttiest art they could and display to everyone.

Everyone was required to bring something and I had left that key information out for Cassia.

That was going to be the first step to the various ones that were sure and were put in place to fully carry out the plan.

“Here.” I said, casually helping her out of the car.

The dress flowed with her h**s, sparkling as she unconsciously swayed her h**s from left to right, each heel of her pointed glass shoes nearly coming in front of each other.

The V of her thighs showcasing a large pound of flesh that called out to me, whenever I set eyes on them.

I grounded my teeth when her hair passed my nose, her scent felt stronger from every part of her.

No part, whether head or toes, were left behind. Everything about her was covered with her own scent.

I had started to notice something as I spent more and more time with her. People’s scents no longer appealed to me, only hers — only hers made me want to take her in my arms.

But I didn’t want Ariadne to know, which was why I was gaming up with her tonight. Cassia needed to leave.

We walked to the front door and before she stretched her hands, probably to knock, the doors were thrown right open. People came out to greet us a bit.

I decided to put up my celebrity smile as it had always worked for me before. It would work again and it did.

We navigated our way inside and Cassia gasped a bit, putting her hand on her ears. I noticed how they twitched a bit, making me feel they were a bit sensitive.

I ignored it.

The music was loud and unstable, but the lights were even worse. The structure of the house was cave like, everywhere smelled of rocks and s*x on the beach.

Alcohol was the primary scent of the event.

“I have to use the rest room. Stay here.” I shouted into her ears as I got close to her.

She frowned and looked at me funny, but I didn’t have time to explain myself.

I simply navigated my way to the bathroom, hoping that Ariadne was going to be here, as planned.

Once I got to the bathroom, she was exactly where she said she’d be.

“Do you have everything?” I asked, my teeth grounding even harder.

Damon was not pleased with me at all. He hated what the plan was and even hated Ariadne more than he usually did.

I ignored him.

“Yes, I do.” She smiled at me, showing her her hands and a baggie that had been stashed in the corner of the toilet.

The plan was simple; we were going to embarrass her with the one person, one art and then, drug her a bit and embarrass her even more.

I hated the idea of drugging her, but I knew she only had little faith left in me before she broke and made a run for it.

I didn’t even care where Ariadne got the drug from, I just knew she was about to leave me after all this.

Quickly, Ariadne stole a k**s while placing a tiny drug in my hands and slipped out of the bathroom.

I was pumped for tonight and even though it was going to be a bad thing, I wore charming smile as a mask, a weapon, and I wore it so well as I stepped out and back into the crowd.

I caught sight of Cassia, still standing where I had left her and asked her to stay.

I was happy she listened and part of me wished she didn’t listen.

I took hold of her hand, flashing her a smile as I dragged her along to the dance floor. I wanted her to have one last normal dance before I ruined her completely.

As we got on stage, the tempo and the music changed to a sensually slow song.

Her scent increased and I wanted to have her all to myself. We grabbed the center of the stage and for a moment, we forgot about everyone else as I placed my hands on her wide h**s, and my other hand held hers in my palms.

Her palm, feeling like feathers and fur together, light and exceptionally soft. I wished to meld it with mine as I kept fondling her hands without meaning to.

Something was happening to me, and I didn’t like it.

I didn’t like her for it.

“Why are you being nice to me?” She asked me out of the blue, snapping me out of my fantasy that involved more than just hands and less of clothing.

Her question threw me a bit off balance because guilt was so close to making me confess, begging her forgiveness and driving us home myself.

“What do you mean?” I sked back, hoping she would at least drop the issue she was about to bring up.

But as usual, she was as stubborn as ever, and I could smell the resistance build up.

“I mean, you bought me dresses. You treated me out to lunch and you brought me to an event that has all of your friends.” She said as she c****d her head to the side, and I spun her around.

“What’s the catch, Lucius?” She asked.

I spun her around again, preparing to do it for the third time and catching her in my arms.

“Maybe your charms are finally working. Maybe you misjudged me afterall.” I whispered, inches away from her and my breath hot on her face below.

She rolled her eyes and I made her stand up upright. Music had ended and everyone as taking a seat.

Ours were already prepared for us. The time had come for our plan. I looked at Ariadne strategically as I sat down, Cassia by my side.

The wanna-be art exhibition was fun. All of us started to bring out our arts and I brought out mine. Cassia started to look at everyone awkwardly as we all showcased ours seat by seat.

“Why didn’t you tell me to bring one?” She whisper-shouted as it got to two turns before ours.

“Why didn’t you ask?” I replied her.

Immediately it got to my turn, I showed my art. A stupid rock that had some splattered paint on it. It was a dumb rock and yet, everyone still awed and applauded and when it got to Cassia’s turn, everywhere turned silent.

“Cassia?” The leader asked, expecting Cassia to surgically perform a miracle for an item to fall out.

The intensity of the state had her face burning with a little rash and red at the same time. It was incredible to watch.

“I didn’t bring any.” She aid shyly.

I smirked silently as looks were passed to her — most were annoyance, which as born out of envy and some, just didn’t want a faint in their fun.

“Aww. Pretty girl left her art. What a piece of art.” Someone said sarcastically.

I knew the someone had to be Ariadne, but she kept her face so straight when people started to hurl laughter and everything went back to normal.

The session ended and Cassia frowned so much I thought her brows would burst.

Meanwhile, I was consciously luring her towards the alcohol. I was going to mix her drink and give it to her myself.

“Why didn’t you tell me that I was supposed to bring an art? Are you trying to sabotage me?” She asked and even though I was right infront of her and she couldn’t see me, my arms freezed up a bit.

“Why would I do that, Cassia? Have a drink.” I said, already spiking the drink and giving it to her already open arms.

She was supposed to sip the drink, instead she took it all at once and my eyes widened so much.

She rose a brow at me. “What? You’ve never seen a girl chug down vodka?”

I chuckled lightly. ” Clearly not one as graceful as you.”

She rolled her eyes now. I sighed to myself, hoping maybe this was a good thing, get it done and over with.

I looked over to find Ariadne giving a systematic curt nod, and I started to give her shots and give her more drinks.

She just kept drinking, solely because she was angry and I was giving her a moment to talk about what she was feeling.

But in actual facts, I wasn’t even listening.

She was starting to get tipsy a bit and then, we were asked to go outside to the pool.

I wanted to guide her there, but she turned around

“I need the bathroom.” She said, her face getting warmer.

I held her by the small of her back and led her to the bathroom. I didn’t wait, I left her there.

“I’m outside if you need me.” I said but I wasn’t going outside, I was going somewhere else.

I started to feel bad, knowing that from where I stood, I could see her come out of the bathroom and struggle outside where everybody else was present.

I didn’t follow closely behind her but I was at a safe distance to say that I could see her.

Ariadne was standing a few feet away from the pool, drink in hand and as a confused Cassia was about to walk past her, her steps faltering, Ariadne pushed her into the pool.

My eyes went wide.

That was not part of the f*****g plan!

She couldn’t swim.

She was flapping her arms and trying to swim but she couldn’t, so someone else jumped into the pool and ended up bringing out a now sober Cassia.

I was still in the shadows, pretending not to know what happened. Cassia stood straight, gown and herself soaked from head to toe and sober.

Ariadne began to laugh, causing the wave of laughter to bounce off every wall.

“You can’t swim and yet, you jumped into the pool? Are you crazy?” Ariadne loudly asked.

Everyone started to really look at Cassia, who still stood extremely soaked. Ariadne had been holding a cup of alcohol.

She got close to her and threw it at her in a way that seemed like it had actually been an accident.

But anyone that knew Ariadne knew nothing about her came with accidents.

“My dress!” Cassia screamed, turning even more attention to her as the drink hit her hair and the center of her dress, flowing down everywhere.

Ariadne put a hand to her lips, an ‘oh’ forming but not escaping her lips.

“What? They didn’t teach you how to swim in Omega class? You’re such a rat, a dirty stuck up rat that knows it’s place is in the slumps!” Ariadne raved, getting so much in her face, completely ignoring the fact that she had thrown her drink in her face.

Cassia was fuming, that much was seen.

“You pushed me!” Cassia screamed at her.

Ariadne laughed long and hard, and people began to bring out their phones and their flashlights to capture every moment.

“Boo hoo. Cry bitch.” Ariadne said, but what Cassia did was beyond just crying.

The next moment shocked everyone, making them gasp — even me.

From where she was, Cassia gave Ariadne a light speed slap, smearing both her makeup and her facial structure together.

She had unintentionally left one of her claws out and it had scratched Ariadne’s face a bit. Ariadne let out the worst scream in history.

I had never heard her scream in pain as she did.

Ariadne held her face and started to let out cuss words so much. People went to her aid, and Cassia walked out on her, tears streaming down her face as she brushed past her and straight to the car.
