"I want all the information about her now! Immediately! NOW!"

Ezra's voice came out of the office.

Since returning from the dinner party, Ezra drove straight to the assistant's house and dragged the man out of bed, telling him to find out the identity of Noah's girlfriend in the shortest possible time. Ezra gradually shortened his questioning from the initial 10-minute interrogation to a one-minute rant.

At the 52nd time of Ezra's rant, the assistant finally delivered Arabella's complete profile to him.

"Get out!" Ezra snapped as he scanned the information in front of him.

The assistant ran and fled out of Ezra's office.

"It's her, she's not dead! She's really not dead!"

Ezra's voice trembled, his whole body looked like madness, and there were even hot tears rolling in his eyes.

But he did not care, he only knew one thing, Arabella did not die.

Five years ago, after Beth deliberately started a house fire, he was rescued by Andrew who arrived in time, but his heart had died in that fire. For the first time in those five years, he felt his heart beating. He couldn't contain his excitement and wanted to run to Arabella's side immediately and tell her how much he missed her.

Ezra glanced at his watch, 3:40 a.m. It was still light out, she was still sleeping, right?

"Yes, she is just sick, I can't disturb her rest."

Ezra forcefully suppressed the urge in his heart to meet Arabella urgently, and let himself be immersed in his work.

At five in the morning, he had appeared outside Arabella's neighborhood.

At seven o'clock, he stood in front of the door of Arabella's apartment and was about to ring the doorbell when he suddenly hesitated.

The way Arabella had treated him yesterday, it was clear that she hadn't forgiven him.

Also, Noah had called her so intimately, "Bella", and he had never called Arabella that.

Ezra suddenly looked at his empty hands again and he turned around and went downstairs.

He found the nearest mall and became a shopping spree.

Beauty, bags, clothes, he would buy almost anything he saw that would suit Arabella best, and yes, a bouquet of flowers.

An hour later, Ezra was once again standing in front of Arabella's door.

After arranging the bouquet, he rang the doorbell.

"Who is it!" Arabella's voice was a little tired and grumpy..

Since seeing Ezra last night, she couldn't sleep when she returned.

All that Ezra had done to her, scene after scene played on a loop in her mind, causing her self-proclaimed calm mind to crumble once again. She had just fallen asleep in the morning and was disturbed again.

Apart from Emma, she only knew Noah and Nick in her country, and none of the three would bother her so early in the morning.

Rubbing her hair, Arabella opened the door of her room angrily.

She was about to yawn when she saw a large bouquet of indiscriminate roses appear in front of her.

Just as she was about to ask, she saw the face behind the roses th at had kept her awake all night.

Arabella subconsciously took a step back and tried to close the door.

Ezra, as if he had expected Arabella's action, thrust his foot across the doorway, cutting off any possibility of Arabella trying to close the door. "Arabella!" Ezra threw the flowers in his hand aside, his expression eager, no longer cold and dismissive in public.

Arabella, seeing that she could not close the door to the room, simply turned around and tried to run back to the room.

Ezra grabbed Arabella's wrist and Arabella stumbled and almost fell into Ezra's arms.

Arabella reached out and grabbed the shoe cabinet beside her to steady herself. She looked at Ezra with cold eyes and said loudly, "Let go!"

Ezra subconsciously released his hand, he felt the residual touch in his hand, his heart lost a little for a moment.

"Arabella, let's start over, okay."

Ezra stared intently at Arabella, waiting for her answer.

"Sir, I don't know you, I already have a boyfriend, please leave my room."

Arabella whimpered inwardly with a pang of annoyance.

What had Ezra done to her when she was in love with him. Now he's acting all pathetic, did he really think she was still the same i***t she was back then!

"I know, it was my fault before, I will make it up to you."

Ezra hurriedly opened his mouth to explain, his attitude sincere beyond words.

"Look, these are all your favorite brands, now I bought them all, and the flowers, don't you like flowers the most?"

Ezra was a little flustered, pushing all the things stacked at the door into the room, and he was about to stuff the oversized bouquet of roses into Arabella's arms as he held it. "Sorry, I don't like any of these, and I'm allergic to roses!"

Arabella threw the roses out of the window as soon as she could, her expression still very cold.

"How come, these are obviously your favorite things in the past, I remember them clearly."

"Arabella, I know I was a jerk, it was all my heartless before, I already know I was wrong, I'm not asking you to forgive me now, give me a chance to make it up to you, okay?"

Ezra said his voice was a little choked up, and his eyes were full of deep emotion looking at Arabella.

"First of all, I don't want to hear you call my name, secondly, I've called security, if you don't leave I'll call the police."

Arabella somehow held a knife in her hand, blocking her chest, and warned Ezra in a loud voice.

As Arabella's voice fell to the ground, the voice of the security guard really came from outside the door.

"Security, he's the one who broke into my room, drive him away!"

Hearing the commotion outside the door, Arabella hurriedly shouted loudly.

Ezra looked at the doorway and gave Arabella another deep look.

"I will prove my heart; I am the one who startled you today."

With that, Ezra regained his calm and composure, as if sanity had returned to his brain.

Surrounded by a crowd of security guards, Ezra's figure completely disappeared from Arabella's sight.

Looking at the gifts Ezra left behind, Arabella's eyes rolled a few times.

She didn't want to waste it, but she couldn't use it all, so she asked Emma to come over and share some of it.

After Ezra was kicked out of the community by the security guards, he was blacklisted. As soon as his face appeared in the surveillance near the community, the security guards would arrive within three minutes to kick him out.

The big boss, who had stirred up the nation's shopping malls, was being driven around like a dog in a house.

Ezra was so annoyed that he called his assistant and soon bought the property in this community and managed to get out of the blacklist.

But Arabella's house was out of the question recently, so he started with the others.

He also remembered that the hospital where Arabella was treated abroad was the same one where Nick often went abroad for exchanges.

Ezra was chagrined that he had been so careless as to let Nick play hide-and-seek with him right under his nose.

Half an hour later, Ezra had arrived at Nick's office. Sitting in Nick's chair in silence.

"What exactly did you call me for, and do you know how many lives I can save in a minute?"

Nick was still forcing his way through, only he didn't know himself how heartfelt his tone was.

"I know everything you've done in the last five years."

Ezra raised his eyes and stared solemnly at Nick as he said in a cold voice.

"What things do I do, what else can I do but heal and save people?"

Nick muttered under his breath, his aura visibly weakened.

"Arabella's back, I just got out of her house."

Ezra's eyes didn't blink, still staring intently at Nick, watching his reaction.

"You don't make jokes like that, I'm a staunch atheist."

Nick seemed to be in shock, his voice was tinged with trembling, and he even took two steps back.

"Why did you lie to me, and you even joined her to lie to me!"

Ezra's expression gradually became impatient and casually threw the photo in front of Nick's face.

Nick's eyes saw the photo of Arabella and Noah and him together abroad, and the person was like a deflated ball, instantly lost the momentum of his earlier sophistry.

"What have you done before you do not know yourself? It's only normal that she won't tell you."

Nick squatted down, he picked up the photo from the ground and said to Ezra.

"Don't say I'm your brother. I'm her friend, too. I can't really watch what's going on between you two. She's suffering too much, I just want the patient I've managed to save to live a free and happy life in the future." Nick's voice was getting smaller and softer, but the look in Ezra's eyes was still very sharp, the look of reproach.

Ezra jerked up from his seat, he opened his mouth to explain something, but nothing could come out.

He stepped up to Nick's side and reached out to grab Nick's arm to justify himself, saying that he had not had a good five years and was constantly blaming himself and feeling remorseful.

Nick avoided his hand, Ezra looked up at Nick, clearly from his eyes saw pity, disdain and ...... disgust.

Ezra only felt the dryness in his throat, swallowed a few mouthfuls of saliva still could not relieve. He tugged at his shirt buttons in annoyance, but still couldn't get relief.

He took a step back and walked around Nick toward the door, muttering under his breath.

"It's all my fault......."

What else could he do?

Maybe alcohol would bring him the answer.
