"Jack Smith, what are you doing here?!" Beth Ruth scowled and put her hand against the door to keep him out.

At the moment, the man standing outside the door was none other than Jack Smith, who looked like he'd been drinking and smelled strongly of alcohol.

"I'm looking for my woman, so what!" Jack Smith, looking drunk, threw his arms around Beth Ruth and tried to kiss her up.

Beth Ruth jumped in shock and pushed the man's face away as if she had touched something disgusting, "Are you crazy? Ezra just left!"

Jack Smith wouldn't relent, he had a firm grip on the woman's wrist, "So what? You Beth Ruth are my woman! Who do I care who Ezra is?!"

Beth Ruth didn't want to waste time with the drunk, she shook off the man's hand harshly, her tone impatient, "I've already transferred the half a million you asked for. I've already arranged for you to leave the country, why haven't you left yet? When Arabella pursues this, I can't save you!"

Jack Smith pushed her away and went inside the cottage, sneering, "You want to get rid of me after you've used me?" Beth Ruth, do you really think I, Jack Smith, am a dog that only listens to you?"

He smiled wickedly, "I got rid of Arabella's baby, I helped you get out of jail for three years, and now you want to get rid of me for such a small amount of money? I'm telling you, we're on the same side now, and you're not going to have an easy time finding out about me!"

Beth Ruth panicked and immediately covered the man's mouth with a warning, "So what do you want? Don't you forget, I'm capable of getting you out of jail and sending you back just as well!"

She suppressed her disgust and coaxed patiently, "Don't worry, I'll promise you anything as long as you behave and leave the country."

Jack Smith raised an eyebrow and actually took a seat on the couch, "You promise me everything Beth, I don't read much but I'm not really stupid either."

He casually ruffled his forehead hair, his lewd smile revealing a hint of warning, "Don't think you'll be able to get rid of me, the three years in jail you owe me can't just go away! Or else......

The man paused, "I guess Ezra doesn't know how dirty the tactics of the woman who sleeps next to him every day really are, does he?"

Beth Ruth looked at him incredulously, "You! Didn't you already promise me before that you'd pay and leave?!"

She was angry and scared, knowing that Jack Smith, a madman, could really do crazier things.

When she first moved on the impulse to make Ezra hate Arabella for good, she used Jack Smith as a chess piece.

I thought he would be as good a fighter this time as he was three years ago, or maybe, it wouldn't be too late to get rid of him for good when he married Ezra himself.

But I didn't think he'd be able to shake it off!

Beth Ruth hates his guts but can't show it.

After all, he has quite a bit of leverage on himself ......

"Beth, when did I ever say I only wanted money?" Jack Smith gave a heated laugh and his hand climbed unruly to the woman's waist, "I want both money and beauty. I've been in jail for three years and haven't touched a single woman, but I've been thinking about you day and night!"

Beth Ruth's eyes widened instantly, and a shudder of disgust immediately grew.

He was greasy and rough, with messy hair and a scruffy chin that looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time.

Beth Ruth subconsciously ducked back, panicking and trying to find an excuse to branch out from him.

Jack Smith didn't allow her to resist, wrapping his arms around her, his tawny incisors and the strong smell of alcohol against the tip of her nose, and murmuring in a pretentious manner, "Beth, I know you've been thinking about me all these years. What's so great about that Ezra, just a little richer, where's the worth of your infatuation!"

The man's mouth went straight to Beth Ruth, "He can't satisfy you, can he Beth, is it worth it to keep other men away for him before you've even married into James's family?"

The girl couldn't avoid it, but ended up being pinned down on the couch by the visitor.

Actually, Jack Smith is right, Beth Ruth has been upset with Ezra for a long time.

Every time she tried her best to seduce him, that man was indifferent every time!

Beth Ruth had speculated somewhat shadily if there was something wrong with Ezra that had pestered him a few times without moving.

But it's not like she, Beth Ruth, had to have him!

Seeing the way Jack Smith was smitten with himself, Beth Ruth's heart actually grew a tinge of amusement.

Sure enough, that's how men should treat her. Was Jack Smith smitten with her, both three years ago and three years later?

Even if it means, being willing to serve three years in jail for her!

Beth Ruth was pleased with herself, and after a few ineffective attempts at fake resistance, she too became gradually more and more enamored......

After making love, the exhausted pair lay together on the couch with a very insatiable look on their faces.

Beth Ruth's eyes rolled and suddenly she rolled over and lay on Jack Smith's chest, her slender fingers gently sliding across his chest, her eyes as puffy, "Jack, can you do one more thing for me?"

"Don't worry Beth, not to mention one, I'll do a hundred!" Jack Smith just felt his heart melting, how could he care about what she was talking about, he nodded his head in response.

"Arabella's car accident and miscarriage ...... Ezra will surely hide it from that old man, so think of a way to break the news to him!"

"You were trying to ......" Jack Smith hemmed and hawed before the words were out of his mouth and kissed her hard on the lips, "Not bad for a woman I like, tough enough!" Beth Ruth didn't say anything for a moment, but there was a few more hints of hatred evident in her eyes.

If that old thing hadn't gotten in the way, she would have married Ezra long ago, why would she have been sent out of the country for years ......

Didn't he like Arabella a lot? Didn't he value this child? How would he react if he knew the child was gone?

"Mom, I'm leaving, take care of yourself oh ......"

The small figure faded away in the dark space, accompanied by a childish voice echoing in his ears.

The heart, abruptly, ached.

"No!"

Arabella let out a loud cry and snapped her eyes open, sitting up from the bed. She took a big breath of fresh air and her whole being seemed to be given a new lease on life. Half the time, she came back to her senses, it was just a dream.

She subconsciously stroked her belly, but could no longer feel the presence of that little life.

Her baby, it had left her for good!

The tip of her nose was sore, and she nearly shed another tear. But her tears had long since dried up, and now she had only a pair of sore, red eyes.

She didn't know how long she'd been sitting on the bed, the empty hospital room was quiet and dim, giving a sense of depression for no apparent reason.

After an unknown amount of time, Arabella suddenly got out of bed slowly, holding onto the wall and heading out of the hospital room.

Mom and Dad don't know how they are doing, she needs to hurry back to see them.......
