Chapter 1948 Terrible Friends

Nicole picked up the phone in a blur and answered the call without looking at the caller ID. lan's agitated voice came through.

"You guys are terrible friends! Why didn't you take me with you when you left last night?!" Nicole gradually opened her eyes. Julie also stared at her wide-eyed.

"Is something wrong?"

Before lan could reply, they could hear someone bashing the door through the phone.

Julie suddenly sat up.

A familiar female voice came through the phone. "Oh no! Samuel's really here!"

The call was suddenly hung up.

Nicole looked at Julie in shock. "What just happened?! Was that Tumi's voice just now?"

Julie nodded with a gloomy expression.

"Yeah, it's her! Samuel's flight is supposed to arrive this morning. When we left last night, Lumi and lan were still drinking together..."

No matter how slow they were, they suddenly realized that Lumi and lan most likely had a drunken affair last night.

At the Tycoon restaurant.

Out of convenience, Lumi reserved a private room with the best view in the restaurant and decorated it as her bedroom.

lan did not even remember what happened last night because he would always black out after getting drunk.

Lumi and lan looked at each other. They could not just brush this away as if nothing happened.

Lumi went to the bathroom to wash up while lan simply put on his clothes from last night.

He was furious and made a phone call to scold his friends.

Others were drunk, so he did not mind.

However, someone came to pick up Nicole and Julie, so why did they not pick him up too? "You guys are terrible friends! Why didn't you take me with you when you left last night?!"

Before lan could say another word, someone started to bash the door.

It sounded like they were about to break the door and barge in.

Lumi came out of the bathroom with an unpleasant look on her face.

"Oh no! Samuel's really here!"

Samuel changed his number and sent Lumi a text message, telling her that he would come back today. However, Lumi did not take it seriously.

lan panicked and jumped off the bed. He was extremely anxious. "What should we do?!"

He looked like he had done something wrong.

Lumi and lan did not dare to look each other in the eye, but now was not the time to feel awkward.

Compared to being embarrassed, they now had to face Lumi's husband, who was smashing the door.
