Chapter 60 - I Want You Now

* The Castle at Drakor; The Capital the Chromos * Lucian POV

We all decide to regroup at the castle at Drakor. One of the biggest questions on everyone's minds is who is the dragon that Maeve flew away on.

"King Drakon of the Dragons and my Uncle, could you recognize who the dragon that Queen Maeve flew away on was?" I ask, my uncle hoping that he knew.

"A large black dragon with dark green horns, dark green under belly, and dark green spikes can only be Lord Marduk. Lord Marduk lives in a manor in my kingdom near the village Assur." King Drakon answers.

"Do you think they would have flown there if his property is so well known? If I was on the run I would fly somewhere nobody knew about, not somewhere everyone would automatically look first." Wolf spoke up. "Well, when she was younger one of her favorite hangouts was on Patmos at the Cave of the Apocalypse. Her parents used to vacation on Thule." Cyprian said.

"Did her parents own a home on Thule?" King Drakon asks.

"No, I believe they stayed with a relative but it might be worth checking out." Cyprian replies.

"I'm in agreement to try and search the Cave of the Apocalypse." I state and everyone else seems to agree. "Okay, then we head out at dawn."

I leave the meeting to spend time with Viola and the children. Both Rohesia and Angelus are asleep on the davenport couch. Viola picks up Sia and I pick up Angel to take them to bed. While doing so I softly hum an old tune that my dad used to sing to me. "That's my job. That's what I do. Everything I do is because of you. To keep you safe with me. That's my job you see. Everything I do is because of you. To keep you safe with me." After we tuck the kids into their beds Viola and I walk to our bedroom hand in hand. Once we get inside I notice that our dinner has been laid out by the maids and the fire has already been set as well.

"My beautiful wife, would you give me the pleasure of this dance?" I ask Viola knowing that no music is playing.

"Of course my king. We'll dance to our own music." She takes my hand and off we go.

Quentin POV

I walk alongside Elena to our room feeling very proud to have her as my mate considering her prowess on the battlefield. I have a surprise for her and I can't wait to tell her all about it.

"You were quite the fighter out there in the battle. I was so impressed with your skills." I'm honestly impressed with how she handled herself on the battlefield.

"Thank you Quentin! That really means a lot to me." She smiles as she throws her arms around my neck.

"But, I wasn't the only one that noticed. Lucian noticed as well. We had a discussion on how best to honor your courage, bravery, and commitment on the battlefield and he's going to offer you a general position over the northern company alongside me so we'll be equals." I bite my lip hoping that she likes the offer.

"Really? WOW! I wasn't expecting that at all. I actually feel a little speechless for once. Yeah, I would totally accept it. That would be such an honor." Her cheeks are pink with blushing and I can tell she's really excited. That makes me happy. Wolf POV

I still feel like I have to treat Emily like a piece of china; one false move and she'll break or disappear. I walk into the room and she's sitting on a chair reading a book, the moonlight casting a beautiful light across her hair, with dinner having already been laid out. She looks up and smiles at me when she sees me walking into the room.

"Emily, how are you feeling today? Do you want me to change your bandages now or after dinner?" I stopped the royal doctor from coming over to change her bandages daily and said if I was in the castle that I would do it. "You can do it now." She grimaces looking down at her arms and legs.

I slowly unwrap the bandages and then remove the gauze which pulls some of the scar tissue open. She whimpers in pain. That's just one bandage and I have to do this seven more times.

"I'm sorry this hurts so much. Have you given any more thought to seeing if Gabe or one of the other healers can remove the scars?" I ask as I start on the second bandage. I hate seeing her in pain and this is a nightly ritual.

"I have but I hate when people look at the scars and see the words. What will he think of me?" She barely whispers the last sentence.

"He'll think that you were a victim of a malicious crime. Emily, I thought Gabe was in the cell right next to you." I'm completely confused now.

"He was and he was there when they branded me with the hot irons but I still don't like him or anyone else looking at them." She lowers her head down between her knees.

"Emily, if I bring him in here I'll make sure that he is aware of your feelings and that he won't act insensitively while he is here nor when he leaves this room. Look, the only reason why I keep bringing this up is because I don't like seeing you in pain." I tell her seriously.

"Okay, bring Gabe in." She smiles at me.

"I'll go get him. Be right back." I smile right back at her.

Gabe and I walk into the room and see Emily sitting down shaking.

"Emily, are you okay with this?" Gabe questions.

"Yes, let's just get this over with. I want these words off of me." She says staring blankly into nothing.

Gabe walks over and places a hand on the scar that I had removed the bandage from and the area on her arm starts to glow almost a bright white and then the light goes away. When Gabe lifts his hand the scar is gone. He places his hand on the next bandaged scar and the same thing happens only this time the bandage and the gauze falls away. He repeats this to every one of her bandaged scars. Cyprian POV

I walk into my bedroom and my eyes fall on Molle. She's sitting by the window watching the sky outside with the moonlight reflecting off of her pale skin. She's so beautiful, so perfect, made just for me and to think I almost lost her fills me with so much pain. It makes me angry to my core to think of what they did to her. She spins around and when she sees me standing in the doorway she runs over to me throwing her arms around. God, how I love this woman!

"Yes, he did. Everything is all better now. Can we have dinner sent up here? I just want to spend time with you." Molly asks me as she rubs her forehead against me.

"I've already requested that dinner should be here momentarily. I have to leave tomorrow morning in search of Maeve." I say as I press my lips against hers. When she lets out a small moan I take my opportunity to slip my tongue into her mouth and our tongues dance for love. Of course right then is when there is a small knock at the door and a small voice announces that dinner is here. So I have to pull away from Molle and open the door. The young maid enters and sets down the bread, plates, silverware, wine glasses, and wine pitcher on a small table. She fills our glasses full of wine from the pitcher and then exits the room. For dinner we have steaks cooked medium rare, grilled asparagus, mashed potatoes, and for dessert small chocolate cakes with chocolate icing and a tiny flower on top. Once dinner was over Molle got up on my lap straddling me. "Cyprian, I want to go further than just kissing tonight." Molle said as she began to kiss my chest and rub on my up and down on my cock in my pants. "Molle, You've had a little too much to drink tonight. I think it's time for you to go to bed." I tell Molle as I lift her off my lap and carry her to the bed. "Cyprian, I'm being serious. I want you now. I'm ready to take this further." Molle says with pleading eyes.

"Okay, but at any time you tell me to stop I will."

*Patmos; The Cave of the Apocalypse *

Queen Maeve POV

"Lord Marduk, What if we lured the men here thinking that they would find us here. I'm sure Cyprian remembers this place and they would consider it first above your manor because of how easy your manor would be to find. So, we lure them here and leave a few demon warriors here for them to fight. Then while they are busy here we go to Drakur and capture their women. We would have all of them except for that damn Elena. However, the most important one is Molle and with Molle we can crush Cyprian." I chuckle sweetly.

"Why is it so important to crush Cyprian?" Lord Marduk asks as he drinks another glass of wine.

"Because if he falls all of the dragon brothers will come toppeling down." I start laughing and I truly can't stop. Tomorrow I must conjure up more demon forces.
