Though she kept bringing up her granddaughter, her tone was dripping with criticism.

Sophie shot Carolina a worried glance, then looked nervously at Chloe

At this point, everyone seemed to be on the side of justice, unanimously condemning Chloe, the “villain“.

Keira sported a smug smile, her eyes filled with barely concealed malice and satisfaction.

Keira slightly turned her body, partially hiding behind Joshua’s shoulder. She was provocatively staring at her, her lips moving silently as if mouthing something.

“Who would’ve thought that such a solemn award ceremony would turn into such a ruckus? A deep, steady voice echoed.

Upon hearing this voice, a glimmer of hope flashed in Chloe’s eyes.

Everyone turned to look, only to see a distinguished elderly man. He was dressed in a suit, slowly walking in from the entrance.

“Who’s this guy?”

“No idea.”

As everyone watched in confusion, the old man slowly walked in.

When Sophie saw the old man, a hint of doubt flashed in her eyes. She felt like she should know him, but in her memory, she couldn’t recall anyone of such age.

When Joshua saw the old man, his eyes lit up with excitement. He quickly let go of Keira’s arm and strode over to the old man, eyes full of enthusiasm. Then, to everyone’s surprise, he knelt before the old

“Mentor“” Joshua said.
