Walter knew that Springfield City and Solum County belonged to two different regions and under the watchful eyes of the Dragon Corps, people in Solum County could not interfere with matters in Springfield City. On top of that, Sean was not the heir of the Lapwoods, so the Lapwoods would never fight Leon for the sake of Sean and Lilith.

“Dad, they might not have helped us if it was in the past, but things are different now, I received a call from Lilith two days ago and she said the eldest son of the Lapwoods was in an accident and Sean has been named the heir! So long as Lilith manages to convince her husband, the Lapwoods will be on our side!“
