“I understand my mistake now, Leon, and I truly apologize for what I’ve done. Please forgive me, and show me mercy–just this once,” Willie pleaded, no longer caring about how this would reflect on his status as master of the Libertons anymore.

“What were you doing all this while, if you only managed to realize your mistake now? people like you don’t deserve mercy! You’d better think about your sins and ask God for forgiveness instead!” Leon snarled, then, without a moment’s hesitation, he raised his arm, intending to rid Willie of his powers right then and there.

“Stop!” all of a sudden, someone yelled.

Then, within a few seconds, a few men dashed toward them from afar.

The two middle–aged men at the lead were none other than Wade Liberton, Willie’s father, and Ted Jones, Tony’s father.

They were followed closely behind by a few of the Libertons‘ master martial artists, all of them emanating auras of power that shunned any who laid eyes on them.

Although Tony was the general manager of Medicare Pharmaceuticals, Ted was the president. Ted had three major businesses under his name, and Canary Pharmaceuticals was just one of them. A few years ago, he handed the business over to his son, but despite that, he still held a majority of the shares under his name.

Therefore, the higher management who witnessed Leon injuring Tony contacted Ted about this once they sensed something was amiss. At that time, Ted was in a business meeting with Wade, and they rushed over to the scene with a few of their best martial artists as soon as they heard.

“Father, please save me!” Willie was delighted to see them and quickly cried out for help.

Leon could sense that Wade and the others were not opponents he wanted to cross, and before they could even approach him, he grabbed hold of willie by his collar and lifted him off the ground as though he weighed nothing.

“Who the hell are you? Let go of my son!” Wade’s expression darkened at this. What he heard was that Tony was injured, so it came as a shock for him to see that his son got involved in this as well!

“Father, this man’s name is Leon Wolf. He’s a cousin of the Scammells. He was the one who broke my legs yesterday,” Willie explained through gritted teeth.

He was forced to plead and beg for mercy in the face of Leon’s power, but now that his father appeared, he grew more confident and immediately his attitude changed almost entirely!

“The Scammells! How dare you, a distant cousin of theirs, break my son’s legs and stir up so much trouble in our territory? I don’t know whether you’re fearless or just stupid!” wade was utterly outraged to hear this.

“Shut up, old man! Give me your terms, and I’ll consider whether I should let your son go!” Leon said coldly. Despite that, he still could not help frowning at this. He already witnessed the power and influence of major families back in Springfield City–they were a pestering presence that constantly cropped up to stir up trouble as soon as one of their members got hurt.

The man standing before him was Williw’s father, and one of the most powerful men of the second generation here in Sky County. He was certainly no easy opponent to defeat, and this troubled Leon greatly!
