“Um,” Sebastian’s face was ashen when faced with Yuri’s determined attitude.

Yuri threaded carefully and never once committed anything that was out of line, so there was nothing he could say or do to retaliate!

Besides, after their brief encounter, he could tell that Yuri came prepared–he brought one of the Thompsons ‘Almighty Warriors with him, and even if he were to use violence, there was no way the Hiltons would be able to get away unscathed!

In conclusion, Yuri was in perfect reason to make this request, whereas he and Joel were at a significant disadvantage and had no choice but to relent!

“Alright, alright, we’ll do as you say! Joel will draft an apology to Elegante Group and announce it in three days, and on top of that, we shall compensate every penny of Elegante Group’s loss!” Sebastian finally came to a decision. Although Joel’s public apology would no doubt tarnish their reputation, it was still better than the other option. Yuri was far too powerful compared to Joel and there was no way he could allow his son to face up against him!

“Alright, deal! I’ll be off now, President Hiltons! I sincerely hope that you Hiltons will take this as a valuable lesson and turn over a new leaf!” Yuri replied, appearing a little more relaxed now. Now that he succeeded in his goal, there was no reason for him to stay any longer. With that, he gathered his men and strode out of the building.

“Rats!” Joel and Sebastian were ashen as they stared at Yuri’s retreating figure. As reluctant as they were about this outcome, there was nothing they could do to change their fate, especially Joel. Not only did he get injured by Yuri, but now he was even forced to publicly apologize to the Elegante Group, including Leon.

One could only imagine his dismay at this!

“What happened, Joel? Not only did you cross the Thompsons, but even somehow did such a bad job that the Thompsons found out about your involvement! I can’t believe your plan failed so miserably!” Sebastian snapped, displeased at this.

“I never thought that the Thompsons would possess some of Elegante Group’s shares, and never once imagined that my flawless plan would turn out this way,” Joel replied with a bitter expression.

He orchestrated such a perfect and intricate plan, but unfortunately, he underestimated Leon too much! He did not cover up his tracks well enough, which was why Leon managed to find out he was the culprit and make him suffer the consequences!

This was the price he had to pay for underestimating Leon!

“Never mind, there’s no point dwelling on this anymore! Come to my office. I have something I need to ask you!” Sebastian replied coldly. Now that what happened already happened, there was no point reprimanding Joel for it anymore.

However, after what happened, he could not possibly swallow this so easily, and he needed to come up with a plan to get revenge!

“Alright,” Joel muttered in response, then followed his father to the presidential office.

“What exactly happened, Joel? Tell me everything, down to the minute details,” Sebastian said after they entered the room. Although he knew that Joel was busy working on his plan to sabotage Elegante Group, he was not at all familiar with the details of what happened.
