"As expected!"

Eliam's and the others’ hearts sank when they confirmed that Roanne indeed come to Leon's aid.

Leon had no status in the southern region and the Golans had no concern about hurting him, but the circumstances with Roanne were different.

The Thompsons were the head of all families in the southern region and as their eldest daughter, Roanne had extremely high standing in the community the Golans were instantly placed at a crossroads when Roanne interfered.

"Miss Thompson, let's cut to the chase here! Leon broke into our house and injured members of my family.On top of that, he destroyed my grandson's power! I've to make him pay for it! This is between the Golans and him, and the Thompsons have nothing to do with this! I'd like for you to stay out of it, or you might risk tainting your family name!" Eliam said.

He knew that the Thompsons valued their reputation and wanted to use it as a bargaining chip against Roanne.

"I'm not staying out of this! Seth was the one who kidnapped Iris and Leon only barged in here to save her! Even if Seth ends up getting his power destroyed, he has it coming and can't blame anyone for it!" Roanne argued.

"But," Eliam was instantly rendered speechless because Roanne was right to say that it had all been Seth's fault.

However, Leon was an enemy of the Hiltons and just destroyed Seth's power, which deepened the conflict between Leon and the Golans, so Eliam was reluctant to simply let Leon go.

Roanne ignored Eliam and hurried over to Leon and Iris alongside John.

"Leon, Iris, are you two okay?" Roanne asked worriedly.

"We're fine," Iris nodded.

"Good! By the way, where's Snow? I don't see her anywhere." Roanne looked around for Snow and was surprised to not find Snow anywhere in sight.

"Snow was captured by Gordon!" Iris said in concern.

"What?!'"

Roanne was stunned, "Leon, you need to go to her rescue now!"

She scanned the Golans who surrounded Leon and instantly realized the Golans were stopping Leon from hurrying to Snow's rescue.

"Leon, I'll get John to stall them.Hurry up and save Snow!" Roanne said decisively.

"Um, okay!"

Leon was worried for Snow's safety as well and agreed to Roanne's suggestion right away.

"We won't let you get away! Golans, capture that kid, and don't let him escape!"

Eliam commanded without hesitation.

Though the Thompsons were powerful, the Golans had the support of the Hiltons, so he did not fear Roanne.

So long as the Golans managed to capture or kill Leon right there and then, the Thompsons would not be able to do much afterward.Yes!"

The Golans avoided Roanne and launched their attacks at Leon.

Roanne was far too important for them to hurt her, but they had no intention of sparing Leon.
