“Oh, Mister Wolf, allow me to introduce my sister, Renee. Renee, this is-“

Before Hugo could complete his sentence, Leon cut him off. “The eldest daughter of the Morrisons. I see! What a pleasure. I’m the vice-president of Cynthion Group, Hugh Wolf,” Leon said and shot a knowing look at Hugo.

He came alone to the western region to make alchemical pills and prepare for setting up branches, but also because he wanted to try and search for the Southern Boss.

The Southern Boss was cunning by nature and if he found out Leon was here, he would be on high alert, making it hard for him to locate him.

In the worst-case scenario, he might even take the risk to return to the southern region to harm Iris and the others, in an attempt to blackmail him and the Thompsons into releasing Rodney.

In that case, Iris and the others would be in danger.

Considering everyone’s safety, it was best for Leon not to reveal his true identity so that the Southern Boss would not be alarmed.

Hence, he claimed to be Hugh Wolf, the vice-president of Cynthion Group, hoping that he would be able to find traces of the Southern Boss with this identity, before eliminating him once and for all.

“Hugh Wolf?” Hugo froze and was confused as to why Leon hid his true identity.

However, as he received the look from Leon, he instantly realized Leon had his reasons for doing so, so he swallowed his questions and did not expose Leon.

“Hugh Wolf? So you’re not the chairman of Cynthion Group, Leon Wolf? Where is he, then?” Renee was shocked and confused.

She came to welcome Leon out of curiosity, but to her bewilderment, the man before her claimed to be the vice president, Hugh Wolf.

This caught her by surprise and she then thought that Leon might still be in the car.

She glanced at the car to find it empty. Instantly, her confusion intensified as she tried to comprehend the situation.

“Miss Morrison, our chairman has something important to attend to, so he can’t come. He sent me here to produce the alchemical pills and seal the deal with the Morrisons. Once I’m done, he’ll come to the western region in person,” Leon explained.

“So you’re here to make the pills!” Realization dawned on Renee.

She never saw Leon in person and did not know that Leon was the only one capable of producing alchemical pills, so she assumed that Leon was far too occupied to travel to the western region and sent an alchemist to his place.

Instantly, she was convinced by Leon’s words without a single doubt in her mind.
