I watch over Rose as she sleeps. Aspen has been pretty quiet since everything that has happened today. I close my eyes and reach out for him.

“Aspen, you okay? You have been pretty quiet today.” I say to him.

“I am just trying to process everything. A lot has happened. I am so thankful to meet our mate, but she is not just a normal she-wolf.” Aspen tells me.

“You are correct. This is a lot. We didn’t just get any she-wolf. We got a she-wolf that was created from the moongoddess herself. She has so many gifts and powers. She will do many things to better our Kingdom. She is a royal. She is meant to lead and better those around her.” I tell him while smiling.

“We were raised to lead too. How are we supposed to let a she-wolf with more power and authority lead over us?” Aspen asks me.

I sit and think about it for a minute. He is right. We were raised knowing that we were going to be the next king. We have always known that our mate would be the next queen. But with Rose it is different. She won’t just be a quiet queen leading with me. She will want to be involved in everything that is going on.

“You are right. She will be more powerful than any of us. She will not lead with us, she will lead beside us. She will have a say in everything going on. It will take time to process everything. But we will be okay, and so will she. She needs to get control over her powers and then she will lead with us.” I tell him.

“I can not wait to meet Lilly face to face. She is beautiful. She is one of a kind.” Aspen tells me.

“That she is. We will work on as a team and better our kingdom in time. But right now, we need to sleep. We have a long day ahead of us tomorrow.” I say to him.

“Yes we do. I know urges will be harder to control now that her wolf is fully present. But you can not mark her and she can not mark you. Also, Lilly can not mark me and I can not mark her. Selene told me to hold off on marking each other in both forms. She would not tell me why though.” Aspen tells me.

I watch over Rose as she sleeps. Aspen has been pretty quiet since everything that has happened today. I close my eyes and reach out for him.

“Wait on marking out mate? That is ridiculous… But Selene must have her reasons for it.” I tell him.

“Agreed. Our beautiful mate is all ours and we can’t mark her.” Aspen says.

“Time for bed.” I say to him. While snuggling closer to Rose and closing my eyes.

I drift off to sleep quickly. I don’t dream, I just am.

7am

I hear my alarm going off. I reach over and shut it off. I roll back over and I can feel Rose pressed up against me. This is the best way to wake up. I roll and wrap my arms around her, pulling her closer. I snuggle into her neck and k**s her softly. I say her name a few times in between the soft k****s.

She stirs slightly. I smile as I k**s her neck. “Rose, my sleeping beauty, it is time to wake up.” I say again.

Her eyes flutter open. She stretches and blinks a few times. She turns her head and looks at me. I k**s her forehead and smile.

“Good morning,” She tells me.

“Good morning,” I say to her.

She rolls over and hugs me while laying her head on my chest.

“Can we just stay here all day?” She asks me.

I laugh at her. “No, we cant. We have lots of people here to celebrate us today. There is a lot to do. So let’s get up and shower and go eat. My mom is already trying to link me, I cant ignore her forever.” I tell her while tickling her sides. She giggles at me and tries to roll away.

I grab ahold of her and get off of the bed. I carry her to the bathroom. Let’s start this day with a shower.” I tell her.

“Sure a shower… with our beautiful mate that we can’t mark…” I hear Aspen say in my head. I block him out while rolling my eyes at him.

“Wait on marking out mata? That is ridiculous… But Salana must hava har raasons for it.” I tall him.

“Agraad. Our baautiful mata is all ours and wa can’t mark har.” Aspan says.

“Tima for bad.” I say to him. Whila snuggling closar to Rosa and closing my ayas.

I drift off to slaap quickly. I don’t draam, I just am.

7am

I haar my alarm going off. I raach ovar and shut it off. I roll back ovar and I can faal Rosa prassad up against ma. This is tha bast way to waka up. I roll and wrap my arms around har, pulling har closar. I snuggla into har nack and k**s har softly. I say har nama a faw timas in batwaan tha soft kissas.

Sha stirs slightly. I smila as I k**s har nack. “Rosa, my slaaping baauty, it is tima to waka up.” I say again.

Har ayas fluttar opan. Sha stratchas and blinks a faw timas. Sha turns har haad and looks at ma. I k**s har forahaad and smila.

“Good morning,” Sha talls ma.

“Good morning,” I say to har.

Sha rolls ovar and hugs ma whila laying har haad on my chast.

“Can wa just stay hara all day?” Sha asks ma.

I laugh at har. “No, wa cant. Wa hava lots of paopla hara to calabrata us today. Thara is a lot to do. So lat’s gat up and showar and go aat. My mom is alraady trying to link ma, I cant ignora har foravar.” I tall har whila tickling har sidas. Sha gigglas at ma and trias to roll away.

I grab ahold of har and gat off of tha bad. I carry har to tha bathroom. Lat’s start this day with a showar.” I tall har.

“Sura a showar… with our baautiful mata that wa can’t mark…” I haar Aspan say in my haad. I block him out whila rolling my ayas at him.

“Okay,” Rose says while holding on to my neck.

I put her down and I start the shower. I turn to see her stripping off her clothes from the night before. So I also take mine off. We both step into the shower. I watch her as she stands under the water, letting it cascade down her body. She is so beautiful.

“What are you looking at?” I hear her ask me. Snapping me back to reality.

“Just how beautiful you are.” I say, leaning in to k**s her.

The k**s deepens and she moves closer. I can feel her fully pressed up against me. I wrap my arms around her and deepen the k**s even more. I pull back and leave a trail of k****s down her neck. I look up at her face and see a smile.

As I come back up to her face to give her another k**s. She pulls back while gasping.

She blushes a deep red and looks away, while pulling away from me. She turns and grabs the shampoo and starts to wash her hair.

“Why did you pull away?” I ask her.

“Raymond is in the living room. The bathroom is too far away from him. I haven’t had the chance to learn to control the mind reading yet.” She tells me.

Now I am blushing, remembering what I was thinking while kissing her.

“I am sorry, but I can not control all of my thoughts while around you.” I tell her with a smile.

We both finish our showers and get out. We dry off and go back to the room to get dressed. The whole time, I am trying to keep my thoughts to myself and not let them wonder.

“This is so hard,” Aspen says to me. Ya it is I think.

“You have no idea how hard,” I hear Rose mutter under her breath.

“You heard all of that?” I ask Rose.

“Ya, I can also hear the wolves’ thoughts…” She says while walking towards the bedroom door.
