I sit and watch Rose, I can tell that she has let her wall down. Her eyes change and have a hint of green in them when she uses her gifts. I wonder if the babies eyes will change like hers or if they will be different. This is the first time Lilly has been blessed to have pups, so it is all new.

I watch her get a confused look on her face. I see that she is watching Alpha Jake, his eyes are fogged over so he is linking with someone.

“Is everything okay?” I ask her leaning close to her and kissing her cheek.

“Yes, everything is fine. I will talk with you about it later on.” She tells me.

She reaches over and squeezes my hand while giving me a smile.

I watch Alpha Jake, his eyes come back into focus, meaning he is done linking with whomever, and I watch as Rose’s eyes go back to normal. I wonder if they were talking to one another.

Once everyone is done eating. The people of the kingdom come up and start congratulating us on the pups that are on their way.

Rose is calm, and keeps smiling at all of them. She carries on conversations with them and makes a few plans to meet with the women, who have recently had babies, so that she can borrow some of their things.

“Miss, why is your wolf forward?” I hear a young boy ask her.

“We didn’t think of this, her eyes change while using her gifts.” Aspen says to me.

“True, but we can use the excuse of her hormones and her wolf being protective over the babies.” I tell him.

“Eventualy we will have to tell them the truth. They need to know who is leading the kingdom. As you know, one small lie can turn into many.” Aspen tells me, before retreating back and going silent.

“Well, I am growing two babies in my belly and my wolf wants to protect them. So with all these people around, she has come forward to help me identify if there is any danger that may come for them.” I hear Rose say to the little boy.

She turns to look at me with a smile on her face. I smile back at her, I am truly blessed.

She finishes talking with the family of the little boy. The line moves and I watch as Rose goes stiff and her heart rate picks up. I look and see that Opal is walking up to us with her mother.

I feel Aspen stir, as he feels the anxiousness coming from our mate.

“Rose? Is everything okay?” I link her.

“Opals mom is not a wolf.” She tells me.

“Yes, she is.” I say to her confused.

Maggy has been in the kingdom for as long as I can remember. She has always helped out in the kitchen.

“No, she is not. She is tricking all of you.” She tells me.

She then puts a smile on her face and talks with the two of them.

“Dad?” I ask him through link.

“Yeah?” He asks me.

“What do you know of Maggy?” I ask him.

I watch as he turns is head to look at her and Rose. Then he turns and looks at me,with a confused look on his face.

“Not much, she showed up here about 20 years ago. She was pregnant at the time, and a few months later she gave birth to Opal. They both work in the kitchen and keep things running smoothly. She said her mate was killed before she got here.” He tells me.

“After this, we need to have a meeting with Rose.” I tell him, he nods his head in understanding.

Soon, Rose has talked with the familieys and everyone starts to head home. I can tell that Rose is tired so, I walk over to her and help her to stand up.

“I know you are tired, but we need to go have a disscussion with my Dad about Maggy.” I tell her, and she nods to me.

Once everyone has left the dining hall, Dad and Mom walk up the stairs to the office. I help Rose up the stairs as soon as we are in the office, she relaxes and sits on the couch.

“Why am I so tired…” She says and I hear my mom laugh.

“Well hun, you are growing two people and you just used your gift for a while. It’s a lot for a body to take.” Mom tells her, walking over and sitting on the couch next to her.

“After we talk, why dont you go take a relaxing bath and get some rest. I will have dinner sent up for the two of you tonight.” My dad tells her with a smile.

She nods and smiles back at him.

“Okay, thank you.” She tells him.

“So, what happened? Why do you say that Maggy is not a wolf?” I ask her.

Mom and Dad both gasp and look at one another before looking to Rose.

“Yes she is, I have seen her shift. We have ran with her in the pack runs.” My mom says.

“She has a wolf, but it is not hers and she was not born with it.” Rose says to us all.

“What do you mean? How can you have a wolf and not be born with one?” I ask her.

“Magic.” She says.

“Rose, we love you, but we need a litlle more information please, just tell us what you found out.” My Dad says to her.

“Well, as Opal and Maggy walked up to talk to me. I noticed that looking into her mind was different, and her wolf was afraid to talk to me. Maggy is a witch. She has been hiding from Sol for many years. She used to work for Sol, but she fell in love with a wolf. And Sol and her hatrid for the wolves did a horrible thing to her.” She tells us.

“Sol found out about Maggy and her boyfriend. Maggy tried to tell Sol that she was his mate and they couldn’t help it. Sol was fourious and killed him, and then cursed Maggy. She took the wolf’s spirt from him and placed it within Maggy. Changing her from just a witch, to a witch with a Wolf, and then she was cast out of her coven for having a wolf. With no place else to go, she came here looking for safety.” Rose finishes telling us.

“That is horrible.” My mom says.

“So Maggy is not a true wolf, and I do believe she may hate Sol more than we do.” Rose tells us.

“So, she is not a threat to us or the babies?” I ask.

“No she is not, but as she is a witch she can sense my powers. So I do believe she has questions. I also think that we need to come out to the kingdom abouton who I really am.” Rose tells us.

“I agree, we need to tell the kingdom, b. But I think we need to wait for the babies to be born first. This way there is a better chance of protecting them if someone is out to get the royals still.” I say to her.

“I agree with Ash, as of now if someone wanted to take out the Royals again, all they need to do is kill you. Then you and your babies are out of the way and no more Royals ever.” My dad says.

“Once the babies are born, there is three Royals that would need to be taken out to eliminate them for good, a. And that will be difficult as you are not going to let the babies out of your sightte for a long time, a. And you will have constant watch and protection.” My mom tells her.

“I think the best time will be after they are born. How about during their welcome ceremony? That way we can introduce them to the kingdom as true rulers that they are meant to be.” Rose says to us.

“I think that sounds like a perfect time.” I say to her.

“You two are already doing a great job in discussing issues that haven’t even come up yet.” My Dad says to us.

“However I do think that we may need to sit down with Maggy first, she is going to have questions and we still have a few weeks before the babies come.” My mom tells us.

“True. And I think that you and Rose should invite her here for a lunch or something and talk then. I would also like to know how much Opal knows.” I say to them.

“She knows nothing. All she knows is that her dad was killed before she was born.” Rose tells us with a sheepish smile on her face.

“And how do you know this?” I ask her.

” I have already searched her mind to see what she knew of her mothers past, a. And she has no knowledge.” She says to us.

“Now if you don’t mind. I am extreamely tired and uncomfortable and would enjoy a bath and a nap.” She says to us.

Mom helps her to stand up. Rose walks over to me and gives me a hug.

As she leans up to k**s me, I feel the babies move in her belly. I smile at her and pull her closer.

“I love you so much.” I say to her, giving her a k**s.

“And we love you too.” She says, kissing me back.
