The Fortune-Telling Heiress -
Chapter 142
Chapter 142
Masison's words shook the Langs and the viewers to their cores right away.
Deml's mother, Carla Pine, was holding the phone at the time, and she dropped it. She turned around and headed toward the Kent family's place once more. The family was still arguing, and Charlie was fighting hard to break free of that family.
"I've given the family almost every penny I've earned these past few years. Isn't that enough?" demanded Charlie with a broken heart. "What else do you want?" Stanley replied, "You can be rid of us if you want. All you need to do is buy your younger brother a house in the city."
"Do you really think I have that kind of money?"
Mark replied, "Of course, you have the money. Your girlfriend is rich, isn't she? Her family has the money to buy me a house. You can marry into their family after that." There was a loud bang. Someone had pushed the door open wide.
Demi's parents were fuming when they entered the place.
Charlie quickly made his way over. "Why is everyone back? I'll deal with my family's matter. If... If I can't, I'll let Demi go. I won't waste her youth."
Demi shifted her gaze to Charlie, but she quickly averted it.
Carla grabbed Charlie's arm and asked, "Do you have a red birthmark on your shoulder?"
"I do have one."
Charlie took his coat off and pulled down his sleeve to reveal the red birthmark in question.
When Demi's mother saw that red birthmark, her tears instantly rolled down. She hugged Charlie and sobbed. "I never thought that I could still meet you after all these years," said Carla, "You're my son! You're my son. Simon was sobbing at the side as well.
Charlie couldn't speak.
His mind was blank. All he could do was
as let Carla bug him as she cried. Between tears, Carla told Charlie the truth about his birth
That was when Charlie realized that he was not a member of the Kent family. It turned out that he was a missing kid.
He never expected his biological parents to be Demi's parents as well
Charlie's eyes shone with shock when he looked at Demi. When their gazes met, Charlie looked away quickly. His heart ached horribly. After Demi's mother finished crying, she moved aside so that her husband could talk to her son. Every member of the Kent family was stunned when they saw this scene unfold.
It took a while before Mark came around and said, "You guys can't..... my big brother away just like that. My family spent a fortune raising him!"
Stanley came around after that as well. He claimed, "That's right. If you want to have your son back and take him away, buy us a house in the city. On top of that, we want a car and a few hundred thousand in cash.
"It wasn't easy raising a boy, and there's no way we'll let you take him away just like that." Charlie never said a word.
then
you must
Although Demi's parents hated the Kents, they knew that the Kent family had raised their son. It seemed Charlle was raised well too, so they felt compelled to compensate the Kent family. Everyone in the livestream instantly went nuts.
"So, the lovers really are siblings? I used to think that these things only ever happened in novels. Who would've thought that it'd happen in real life?" wrote a viewer.
"Oh, bell! This is just too much!" wrote another viewer.
Someone else chimed in and typed, "Given the fact that they're related by blood, there's no way they can get married. They look so in Chapter 142
love with each other, though. Who would've thought that they were siblings? I find this whole thing a little hard to accept."
Another viewer typed, "I'm sighing aloud. Am I the only one who noticed that the Kent family is greedy as hell? They really are making crazy demands."
When Demi saw those comments, her tears rolled down her cheeks. She was quick to wipe them off, though.
Charlie caught Demi crying. He instinctively wanted to make his way over to comfort her. However, he stopped as soon as he took a step forward. They were biological siblings. Hence, their love was lated to be doomed. Charlie's heart ached horribly.
