Logan's POV

Margaret had just left, and I was sitting in my office contemplating everything she had told me. She had confirmed Julia was indeed now mated to the Lycan King. "His mother seems pretty keen to get rid of her," Levi noted.

"She does, but it seems only because she wants him with a Lycan being the King. It works in our favor though."

"First you have to see if her mom will agree to help us."

"If we can get Julia here and use her as leverage, I don't think that's going to be a problem. She knows how our pack feels. I think she'd believe a threat if we gave her one."

"Let's go get the last of the information out of Marvin," Levi said. I got up and started heading to the dungeons. I needed to know the name of Julia's mom and the name of her coven. Marvin probably knew how to contact her, but first I needed Julia as leverage to force her to make the potion. I marched down the stairs into the dungeons. I could hear Marvin and Sandra talking to one another. My dad hated that they were still alive, but I had kept them alive for this very reason. Until Julia was back here with me, they stayed alive.

"Marvin, come here." I boomed. He got off his bed slowly, just like every time, and walked over to the barred door.

"What?"

"What is Julia's mother's name?" He just glared at me and didn't say anything.

"I said, what is Julia's mother's name?" I pushed out my Alpha aura, and I could see the twisted pain on his face as he tried not to submit. It was no use though.

"Cornelia Sullivan...."

"What's the name of her coven?" Again, he tried to resist. "You could make this a lot easier on yourself if you just tell me."

"Where's the fun in that?"

"TELL ME!"

"The High Noon Coven."

"Do you have a way to contact her? You said she came to you."

"No, she would just pop up when something bad was happening to Julia, almost like she could feel it, and then she asked for my help."

"There must be some way to contact her. She must have told you something."

"She didn't. Don't you think I would have told you if she had?"

"Damm*t," I blurted out.

"What do you want with her anyway? Now that she knows Julia's safe, she won't show up anymore."

"I wouldn't say that. There's been a new development in Julia's story, and I have a front row seat. She's coming back here to be my mate, I can assure you that." I turned and started walking away. "What are you talking about? What are you going to do?" I heard Sandra yell from her cell.

"Well, that was useless," Levi grumbled.

"Not completely. We know her name and where she is."

"Yeah, but we have no way to contact her. We don't know where that coven is, and we have no way of finding out."

"If she really is as powerful as Marvin has said, I have a feeling if we call her threatening Julia, she'll come running." I hoped that was the truth. If we didn't find her, then our plan was hanging on by a thread. If I managed to get Julia here, maybe I could cause her enough pain that her mother would come running to try and help her. That's when I could let her see what was happening and demand she make me that potion. It was probably best if we didn't keep Julia in the pack house, it would be too easy for Alex to attack if something went wrong. We had a few safe houses just outside the borders, if we were ever to be attacked and taken over, the surviving people would have a place to flee to.

My dad thought it was stupid to have these houses because he believed no one could take on our pack. They had been put up by my great grandfather, and my grandfather maintained them. My dad didn't, since he didn't like having them, but they would work for what I needed for a day or two. I figured I should probably let lan and Tyler in on the plan. I was going to need their help to keep Julia in the house and quiet.

"lan, Tyler, I need you in my office in ten minutes."

"Yes, Alpha," came their group reply almost instantly. They must have been close by, because when I opened the door to my office, they were both already sitting. I sat down and began to address them.

"I brought you guys here because I've gotten information that Julia is in fact mated to the Lycan King. She's in their territory right now, but she is not very welcome by the former Queen."

"How do you know that?" lan asked.

"I think it's best if I just tell you what you need to know for now."

"Why doesn't the former Queen want her there?"

"She doesn't think she's suited to be the new Queen as a hybrid. She wants her son to be with someone like them, a Lycan. With that being said, tomorrow I'm going to do an exchange and bring Julia back here. I plan to keep her in one of our safe houses until we can figure out how to make her forget about her bond with the King. Once that happens, I'll be able to mate and mark her like I should have on day one."

"Um, Logan, how do you plan to get her from the pack?"

"And won't the Lycan King come looking for her?"

"Don't worry about that, it's all part of the plan. I'm gonna need your help keeping her in one of the houses and quiet. We also have a plan to make the king forget about Julia. That way he won't come looking for her."

"This seems like a difficult plan to pull off," lan remarked.

"You think I won't be able to do it?"

"No, it just might be complicated."

"But we'll help you in whatever way you need, Alpha," Tyler added to ease the tension.

"Ian, tomorrow morning I want you to go to one of the houses and try and get it ready. Make sure we have a place to keep her, but also make sure she isn't just sleeping on the floor. We'll need wolfsbane and silver chains to keep her from communicating with her wolf." "Of course."

"You also shouldn't hurt her while she's there. No matter how much you want to. I have a plan for that also, so when I'm not there, just stay away from her unless she needs something, got it?" "Yes Alpha."

"And give her more than a bucket or something for a bathroom." "Yes, Alpha."

"Tyler, you're going to need to make sure we have strong border patrols. I won't be able to make either of them forget about this bond right away, so we need to be prepared if they try anything." "Yes, Alpha."

"Get plenty of rest today. You're going to need it," I told them. "Now go." lan and Tyler both got up and left with the bow of their heads. I spent the rest of the day planning what I was going to do with Julia once I got her back. I didn't care what Margaret did with her son, as long as he didn't come looking for Julia, that was all I cared about.
