The King's Omega -
The King’s Omega – Chapter 16
He didn’t like that guy, but he let him pass, because the king made the decision to leave him under his roof no matter what. He went to his room again, sitting at the window with his book, letting time pass as if nothing had happened, until a beautiful memory came to his mind in a strange way and he couldn’t help but laugh as he remembered what happened that night he met his lord in a strange way.
– Who are you? “He” he jumped when he heard that voice.
He looked towards where the voice was coming from and pressed his body against the nearest wall and for the first time in his life he wanted to disappear because of the fear he was feeling.
There was an omega woman, alive in flesh and b***d. It must have been a joke in poor taste, what he was seeing at that moment, an omega could not exist…
– You will not say anything? Who are you? She tried to get closer to him, but Thiago stopped her.
—Don’t come near me—if the wall at that moment were passable, he would already be on the other side. For the love of the gods, please don’t do it.
“I’m sorry,” she walked away.
Thiago looked at her from head to toe, she was totally beautiful. Her eyes were light green, her gaze showed a unique innocence, her hair was curly in every aspect.
– What are you? —She asked, after a few minutes of silence.
“I’m an omega,” the girl whispered as if she were the most obvious thing of all.
—That’s impossible—she pressed herself closer to the wall.
—It’s true, I’m the only one of my kind. I’m sorry if you don’t believe me, I’m not to blame for that,” she said hurt.
“You’re a curse, I’m getting out of here.” He turned around to leave.
The little omega, seeing that she was the only person in that place, for the first time had spoken to her, she was leaving, without meaning to, her eyes filled with tears and she let out her first sob.
“I’m weird, I’m disgusting, no one loves me, I’m a curse,” she saw her cursing herself. “He always tells me that,” she said through tears.
Thiago beat himself up internally again and again because of the situation and the stupid words he had said. F**k everything. He approached the omega if he was slapping his legs with both hands and cursing herself for being like that.
The little omega felt arms around her and let out a gasp of surprise at that, she didn’t think twice and reciprocated the hug he was giving her. She surrounded the brunette with both hands, feeling for the first time in her life that unique value, that something that no one had wanted to give her just for being who she is. An omega. Thiago couldn’t explain what he was doing, people said that when an omega is close to you many things can happen. Like, for example, contracting a disease.
– What’s your name? —She asked after a few seconds of silence.
—Dayana.
She shook her head at the memory of that night, which led her to be in the arms of her king. She frowned when she saw a luxurious carriage park in front of the palace doors and from it two men got out who, if her vision was not failing her, seemed to be from the East due to their clothing. Her gaze went to the beautiful woman who seemed tailor-made for any king who wanted a wife.
She wouldn’t be left with the doubt of knowing a little more about the guests, she would discover who they were, although that could later get her into huge trouble. Of which, she would look for a way to let the king know that she could give him anything she wanted to get her forgiveness.
He ran down the stairs and hid behind some columns, which were of little use, since the king realized he was there from the moment he stepped into the great hall.
—This is the second time this day that you have come in here—Thiago extended his hand towards her—. “I want to introduce you to someone,” he intertwined his fingers. “He is the king of the East,” he pointed to the alpha. His name is Derek, he was with me the night he brought you to the palace.
—I think he had seen it before—he extended his hand towards the alpha—. A pleasure, sir.
—The pleasure is mine, to meet an omega as beautiful as you—the alpha kissed his knuckles—. The letter you sent me telling me about her doesn’t do justice to how wonderful this omega is.
“Don’t be too clever either,” Thiago growled in his direction. You have someone by your side.
“I was just joking.” He raised his hands. I also don’t go around stealing my friends’ partners. What kind of person do you think I am?
“The same as always,” he laughed. One of the servants will take you to your chambers, please enjoy your stay in my humble palace.
– We will do it.
—Is the omega who was with the alpha mute? —Dayana asked as soon as they were alone—. I say this because she didn’t speak or say hello while I was here.
“I don’t know much about her,” he commented thoughtfully, “but I think she’s very shy, in her own words.”
“I understand,” the omega wrinkled her nose. I must return to my work with the books, I leave you sir.
“Don’t go,” he grabbed her h*p. Let’s get lost in one of the hallways of this place.
—Why didn’t she say it before?
The omega had fallen so quickly that she did not realize that she was enjoying carnal pleasures, which could bring a lot of problems.
*********
For many years it was speculated that omegas were extinct, that they had already disappeared and that very rarely, they appeared out of nowhere in people’s lives to bring curses or so everyone said. Dayana was the exception, for that reason her mother died or so her father made her believe during the years she was with him in her palace.
Now, she is happy with her alpha, with the person who had created a bond of pure love, who swore to love her no matter what happens or what others may say. At night, the king gave the order that he must go down to meet the guests and his surprise was greater when he saw that the woman who arrived with the alpha turned out to be an omega. He had to hug Thiago’s arm tightly so as not to fall in shock.
“Don’t worry, they are good people.” The alpha smiled at her, kissing her forehead. They are here to meet you.
—This is something that took me by surprise, I’m sorry—he had to blink several times to get out of his astonishment—. This is great, I think now I can die in peace.
“Don’t say those things that make me nervous,” he pouted. I assure you that they are more than happy to meet you, come with me.
—What if he doesn’t like me? “He” stopped him. Remember that I am an omega and I have never seen anyone like me.
“Let’s find out what happens when you talk to her,” he intertwined their fingers. Good evening, gentlemen, it is a pleasure to be with you this evening.
“Same here,” Derek stood up. Meet my wife, Julia.
—She’s an omega—Dayana’s eyebrows furrowed—. This is incredible.
—Yes it is—Derek kissed the omega’s knuckles—. I’m very sorry for not having greeted you properly when we arrived, we were a little tired from the trip and Julia hadn’t slept well.
“It’s okay, it’s something I completely understand,” Thiago responded without stopping to look at her. I…I don’t know how to react now. For years I was told she was the only female omega.
—Well, it turns out that my wife is also an omega—Derek was extremely in love with the person next to him—. It’s a miracle that he’s still with me and that no one looks at us with the desire to kill us.
“They do it because I dress appropriately,” the omega finally responded. Otherwise, we would already be dead.
“Don’t say those things,” he scolded her, pinching her arm. Let’s sit down to dinner, I’m starving.
“Of course,” Thiago agreed, and applauded twice. You can bring dinner now.
—Why should you do that? In the East they don’t accept omegas?
“You have no idea I married her,” he intertwined his fingers. Things are not easy as everyone thinks, there are things that are better to keep secret for a while.
— I’m very sorry if I touched on a sensitive topic, it wasn’t my intention to do so.
“It’s okay,” Julia reassured her. When we are alone I will tell you many things that have been happening over the years, now it is better to eat in peace.
The dinner was very pleasant, no one mentioned anything about it, everyone was more than happy that there was finally someone Dayana could talk to for a few days or maybe weeks. Derek mentioned that the East was left in charge of his brother, which is very loved by the inhabitants and that of course, there was nothing to worry about. There was no further discussion of the topic that night, there was no need to ruin a beautiful dinner with false beliefs from the past.
That same night, Thiago and Dayana shared the same room as always, neither of them wanted to separate and that was how they spent the days and nights.
—Why didn’t you tell me there were more omegas? —Dayana asked, placing her cheek on the alpha’s chest—. I can’t believe there are more like me.
—I didn’t say anything, because I didn’t know about the existence of that omega either—he stroked her hair—. I assure you that I am just as surprised as you.
— This is something I never thought I would see in my entire life — Dayana sighed happily —. I’m so glad that everything is finally going without any problems and that the bad people are receiving their punishment.
—What bad people? Who do you mean by that?
“No one in particular,” she wrinkled her nose. I just mentioned it, don’t worry.
“You still haven’t told me who was the person who hurt you to such an extent that your hand had a scar.” The alpha ran his fingertips over the marks. I can’t believe someone could hurt you in such a cruel way.
—These are things that happen without us realizing it—he grimaced—. I already told you that no one hurt me, I’m very clumsy and you know it.
“Because I know they hurt you, that’s why I mention it,” she knitted her eyebrows. I have always felt that you hide many things from me and I don’t like that.
“I’m so sorry,” she pretended to be sad, “but I’ll keep saying that no one hurt me and I don’t care what you think.”
— I’m going to punish you, you’ll see.
“I don’t think you’ll make it,” she bit his chest. It would be a pleasure to be punished by my lord.
