The Luna’s Pure Heart – Chapter 88

(Eleanor pov)

We ended up at a high-end store where Dani said she did most of her shopping when she introduced me to a new wardrobe. At the front of the store stood a woman carrying a tray with three champagne flutes waiting for us.

“Queen Eleanor, welcome, we are thrilled to have you.” The neatly dressed woman said, handing me a glass.

“This is non-alcoholic my Queen.” She whispered, handing me the glass as I took it carefully and nodded my thanks.

Glancing over at Dani and Rachel, they were now standing next to each other with their arms looped together. I couldn’t help but smile at how comfortable they were with one another already. I’m sure the alcohol might of helped in that area but I could tell they were going to become good friends.

“My Queen, was there a particular item you were looking for today?” The woman asked, smiling softly as she eyed me up and down. Making me feel slightly self-conscious..but I guess she should approve because Dani did get these items from this very store.

“My friend here has a very important dinner she will be attending, and we wanted to get her a dress for the evening.” I informed her and she glanced over towards Rachel who suddenly stood up much straighter.

“We need something real sexy Gayle, and preferably silver.” Dani chimed in and I couldn’t help but notice the hint of a smile that pulled at the corner of Gayle’s mouth.

“Come with me, I have just the thing.” She handed the tray to another employee and motioned for us to follow her.

Dani looked at me beaming as I shook my head and couldn’t help but laugh. I guess no one was immune to Dani’s charm and easygoing personality.

We were soon led back further into the store, passing rack after rack of clothes as Rachel and Dani giggled all the way there.

Then the woman finally stopped, reaching over she quickly grabbed a silver silk dress that looked absolutely breathtaking. It had thick straps that hung down the shoulders loosely and I swear the shade of silver was the same shade as the Beta’s eyes..

Rachel must have been thinking the same thing because the gasp that left her was unlike anything I had ever heard. She looked at the dress with wonder and stumbled slightly when Dani pushed her forward to go grab it.

“I have the perfect shoes to match too.” Gayle added, handing the dress gently over to Rachel.

“Better get some matching lingerie as well!” Dani hollered after her and I couldn’t help but elbow her in the side, making her laugh.

“We have to be prepared for every outcome, right my queen?” She teased me and I narrowed my eyes at her.

“But the whole store doesn’t need to know about every outcome.” I raised my eyebrow and she shrugged sheepishly.

I noticed Pierce and Jake were standing extra stiff in this store, especially as we made our way toward the lingerie. I had never been to a place like this in my life. I feel like both Rachel and I looked completely overwhelmed and out of place.

I looked towards the cute matching bras and panties and suddenly my gaze was drawn to a blue lace baby doll cami. I walked over towards it, my eyes taking in all of the gorgeous detail that I hadn’t even noticed Gayle standing right beside me.

“Would you like me to add that to your account My Queen?” She asked abruptly, causing me to jump as I looked at her with wide eyes.

“Umm..yes, please.” I don’t know why I was whispering..it’s not something I should be embarrassed by..right?

“I have a few more I think would look breathtaking on you your highness..I can send them over as well, if that’s okay?” She must have seen my total lack of knowledge in this department as I smiled and nodded happily. Maybe I should get some sexy lingerie..I guess the fact that Damion pretty much tears off whatever I wear made me not even bother before..but now that I’m pregnant it might be nice to look and feel sexy in something like this.

I walked over towards Dani and Rachel and saw a cute white bra and panty set Dani was holding up against Rachel. I nodded with approval and clapped my hands excitedly.

“That will look so beautiful on you Rachel.” I encouraged and she smiled and nodded, her eyes more glossy than before. She must still be pretty tipsy.

“Well, let’s go try it on and then get you ready to go!” Dani turned her around, carrying the dress and lingerie in her hands.

We got to a dressing room and Dani shoved the items into a booth with Rachel and quickly closed the door.

Then she turned on her heel and went to the couch, plopping down onto it, closing her eyes and letting her head lean back.

“Elle..I think I’m really drunk.” She mumbled to me and I went to sit next to her, laughing to myself as I placed my hand on hers.

“Those drinks snuck up on you huh?” I asked Dani and she nodded her head, letting it fall back once again.

Just then we heard a loud bang which was followed by soft giggles.

“I’m okay!” Rachel shouted over the door, making me and Dani look at one another and burst out in laughter.

When we were finally able to settle down, the door slowly began to open, drawing our attention to where Rachel now stood. Only this didn’t look like Rachel, this looked like a damn bombshell with curves and a figure to die for.

“What the hell! Where have you been hiding this girl?!” Dani whistled, making Rachel blush and hide her face.

“You look stunning Rachel.” I stood up and walked over towards her. She really has changed so much since leaving B***d Moon.

After we agreed that this was definitely the perfect dress for Rachel, we headed back to the castle to finish getting her ready and before we knew it, it was already six o’clock. Rachel tried chugging some water while Dani did her hair and added a little bit of makeup. The Beta’s would be here any minute and Damion kept trying to come in and bug us since the moment I got back..I finally gave in and he hasn’t left my side. Dani even tried making him go on the hunt for the Beta’s but he just sent them a quick link and sidled right up next to me once again as I watched Dani curl Rachel’s brown hair.

‘You must be so tired Bunny. Do you want me to give you a bath?’

Damion linked while sitting behind me and rubbing my shoulders softly.

‘Will you go in with me?’

I glanced back at him and his eyes sparkled excitedly.

‘I wouldn’t have it any other way.’

His voice was deep and husky, making my stomach flip as I tried to concentrate on what Dani was saying.

‘You’re distracting me.’

I glared over my shoulder, making him smirk as he bent down kissing my shoulder tenderly.

‘What? Me? Never..’

He tried to feign innocent but I knew this man didn’t have an innocent bone in his body when it came to this..he was a tease..a big rotten tease.

“So should we do the flower earrings or the pearl?” Dani asked, which might have been for the third time for all I knew..

“Umm..I think pearl, Rachel is an old soul, I think it matches her personality more.” I quickly tried to reign my thoughts in while Damion pulled me back, resting me flush against his chest as he kissed the top of my head.

“Yeah, you are totally right..and with that..she is..done!” She said happily, her eyes studying Rachel as she helped her stand up and turn around.

“Rachel..wow..you look gorgeous.” I went to sit up but was held down by Damion’s strong embrace.

I swear his eyes have been burning into me this entire time..I can feel them wandering my body even now.

“Do you think they will like it?” She asked nervously and I nodded my head eagerly.

“I think Lance might even shift right on the spot..honestly..” I could really see it. This might be too much for both of them to handle.

Just then, a soft knock sounded on the door, causing Rachel to shriek as Damion couldn’t help but chuckle. I looked up at him, narrowing my eyes.

‘She is like a little lamb, those two wolves might just eat her alive.’

Damion linked, and I couldn’t quite deny that..she definitely is timid but I think this will help all of that..tonight might just change everything.

That’s when two sets of footsteps began approaching, which abruptly stopped as soon as they set foot in the room.

Lucas and Lance truly looked identical at this very moment, their eyes both wide and their mouths dropped open. Their slow gaze wandered down their mate as I swear Lance might have even pinched himself.

“What..what’s going on?” Lucas managed to sputter out.

Rachel took a deep steadying breath and looked at me quickly, which I smiled widely and nodded encouragingly..she can do this.

“Well, I was wondering, maybe if you two..um if you wanted to possibly go on a date..with me..” she finally spit out and Lance quickly ran over, wrapping his arms around Rachel and spinning her around.

“Of course we want to go on a date with you..damn kitten, we would have gone on a date with you a long time ago..we just wanted to give you some space.” Lance looked her in the eyes and I could see the relief flooding through them. I knew that was the case..but maybe this will prove she is ready and be the nudge they all needed.

Lance set Rachel down and Lucas now walked up to her, his hand rising up and cupping her cheek gently.

“Is this why you have been avoiding us all day sweetie?” He asked softly and Rachel nodded her head bashfully.

“I wanted to surprise you.” Her voice was sweet and I could see Lance and Lucas melting right before my very eyes.

Then they left without another word, Lance turned around winking back at me over his shoulder and then they were gone. I have a feeling Rachel might have two fresh marks the next time I see her..

Damion swiftly lifted me up, making a small yelp escape me as he carried me bridal style.

“Well, that’s our cue.” Damion said to no one in particular and I watched as Dani waved to me slyly. A wide smirk on her face as she watched Damion carry me all the way to our room.

“Now..about that bath.” He growled against my ear and before I knew it I was naked and pressed up against the wall..I guess we will get to the bath eventually..because I know for a fact that it’s going to be a long long night.
