“FROM TODAY SHE IS NOT A SLAVE ANYMORE. I AM DECLARING HER TO BE FREE AND INNOCENT”

Alina closed her eyes and tears rolled down her cheeks. He told them that she was free. Was that meant she did not have to think about her death anymore and she could live like a respectful woman though her respect had been destroyed with the tag? Every woman in this kingdom knew that she was a s3x slave of the king.

She opened her eyes and her eyes fell on Beta Lucas.

He nodded at her and smiled. Alina wanted to thank Lucas.

She owed to him her whole life.

If that night he did not show his trust in her and did not help her, today she would not be alive. She could not get to be free. Now even if she died, she would live like a free woman, she did not have to die like a sinner.

She wiped her tears and turned to Aaron. “How do you know I am innocent? Do you have any proof?”

Aaron did not look at her but replied,

“Crystal Graham accepted her crime last night.”

Hearing that Alina remembered what happened last night.

All the scenes came across her mind like a flashback.

Lucas and Aaron wanted to kill Crystal but she said if she died, Daisy would die too. She was right. That was why they had to let Crystal go.

Alina knew Aaron did not want to let her go. The way he came after her to give her punishment, she believed Aaron would not let Crystal go that easily. He might be very angry at her.

Alina nodded and turned around from him. She was about to leave for her room but she heard Aaron.

“Where are you going?

“To my room.”

“Come to the dining room for breakfast.” Aaron said and started to walk to the dining room. Everyone understood that he would not listen to a no from anyone.

All the officials congratulated Alina.

“I am very happy for you, Alina.” Silvia said and hugged Alina.

Alina smiled at her. “It’s all because of your mate. He helped would me and gave me a new life. If he did not help me, I not be here alive today.”

Silvia looked at Lucas and Lucas shook his head. He said to Alina, “I did nothing. I am sorry for what you had to endure all this time. Don’t worry, he declared it. Do you know what it means? It means we have to declare it to the whole kingdom. You are no more his slave. No one knew about the crime which you hadn’t committed.”

“But what about Aunt Daisy? She will kill her if you all do something with Crystal.”

“You don’t know king Aaron then. Let him handle it.”

Alina did not say anything more about it and headed to the dining room with them.

After a very long time, she came to that room and sat on the chair where she always sat.

All the time Alina’s head was down. She only ate food and did not look anywhere.

After breakfast, she went back to her room and stood in front of the window.

She took a tool and sat there. She looked at the sky. The sky was not gloomy but clear. Fresh air touched her face.

She felt like a burden left her chest. She did not know how she came to that path. She thought about her whole life.

‘I was so alone all of my life. But I have never thought I was actually alone. I thought I have parents and a best friend, who are my family. But they were not even my family. My parents were not my real parents, my actual parents were killed by my best friend’s mother who was not even my best friend but the biggest enemy of my life.’

It had been two days.

Alina did not talk to Aaron. She talked with others. Selena was good with her too and Alina did not hold any grudges inside her heart.

Aaron did not talk about the Crown ceremony so every pack member was thinking that the ceremony would be held the same day.

It was morning and Alina was trying to wear her dress. But she was feeling pain and could not move. Her left hand was stuck into the dress and she could not move to take it out of the sleeve.

She did not ask Shaline for help and that was her fault. She thought she would do that by herself.

Alina heard a knock. “Yes, Shaline, please come in. Help me.”

She said.

The door was opened and she gasped when she smelled the scent just entering her room.

She looked at the mirror in front of her. She could see him through the mirror. He closed the door and strolled to her. Alina felt heat raised on her cheeks. She was stuck in the middle of wearing the dress. Her cleavage and back were showing. She tried to move her hand but wheezed in pain.

“Don’t move.” Aaron said and touched her left hand.

Alina looked at Aaron in the mirror. He was very close to her.

He slowly pulled her hand. Alina closed her eyes in pain but opened them when she felt him remove the distance between their bodies.

She felt him behind her. His hands tried to pull out her hand and did it without giving her much pain.

Alina wanted to move after that but Aaron put his hands on her wa!st.

Alina was speechless. They were looking at each other in the mirror.

His hands slowly lifted. Alina thought he would touch her chest. However, he surprised her. He put on all the buttons of her dress which hid her cleavage. Then he took the rope of her dress and tied it. When he knotted the rope he slightly pulled her body. Her body was crushed with his body.

Alina was silent all the time. Aaron did not do anything to her. He let go of her dress and moved backward.

“I came here to take you.”

Alina turned around. “Take me where?” She asked with confusion.

“The pack doctor came to check on you.”

“Oh, where is he?”

“In my room.”

“But why? I am here.”

“He will not come to this room. So come with me.” Aaron said and held her hand without any hesitation.

Before she could deny he took her out of her room. Every maid was shocked but bowed to their King. Shaline was passing but when she saw Aaron, she bowed and smiled at Alina.

Aaron took Alina to his room. The pack doctor was actually waiting for her.

“Hello, Alina. how are you?”

“I am fine now.

“Please sit down and let me check your arm.”

Alina nodded and sat on the couch. Aaron was standing beside the couch while watching her.

The pack doctor opened her bandage and Alina hissed in pain.

“Do you still feel the pain?”

“Yes.”

“Don’t worry it will be okay soon.

“I don’t think so. There are so many stitches.” Alina said while looking at the stitches on her arm.

“It will heal soon.’

“How? I am an Omega. It will take a long time. Doctor, will the pain stay like this?” Alina asked. She could not take so much pain.

“Of course not. You will be okay in a few days. I just checked if your wound was dried or not.”

Alina saw him dressing her arm. She closed her eyes tightly.

The pain was rising high. She could even feel the burning stitches.

“I will be okay when King heals you.”

“Heals me?” Alina asked with a confused face. But her eyes widened when she remembered how he healed her in his garden.

She shook her head. “No need for that. I trust my fate. When it needs to heal, it will.”

She did not want any favor from him. She was staying here because she was confused right now about her life. She had no future, all of her past was a lie.

“Why?” The pack doctor asked.

“No, I don’t need this, doctor.” Alina said with a small smile.

Aaron frowned his brows. “Did you just take my decision?”

Alina looked beside her and saw his angry face.

“I didn’t mean that. But I don’t want your help, thank you, my king.”

The pack doctor shook his head. “He is your mate. Only he can heal you. Though he will be-“

Aaron glared at the pack doctor and did not let him tell her what he wanted to say.

“He will be what?”

“I mean to say he can help you. He is our king. If he wants to help someone, you can not decline it.”

Alina wanted to refuse it again. But Aaron did not let her talk.

He nodded and said with his deep voice,

“No one can stop me.

If I want to heal her, I will.”
