The Lycan Series
Bullied By The Lycan King Chapter 72

Axel's POV

I marched back to the mansion with a heart hard as stone. My enemies had dared to come into my own and mess with it. Greg was right, I had to put them in their place. They called me a boy king, I was going to show them, why people thought was exactly like my father. Monty's men and mine had subdued what was left of Fergus's army. They were all kneeling at the center of the field like a bunch of animals that they were.

"Montgomery!" I yelled as I got closer. I had not seen him, but I knew he was nearby. No commander walked too far from his army. "Yes, Axel," he replied, appearing from my side.

I pointed my finger at the group of men and turned to him, "I want them all beheaded and thrown in a heap into a pit!" I growled.

"But Axel- my king, that would be too cruel a punishment," he started to say but I stopped him halfway with a hand raised to his face.

"They should have thought of their fates before signing allegiance with a pathetic fool like Fergus! This should be a lesson to those who are yet to make up their minds! I am not a fool. My fairness to my people and the packs under my rule should not be seen as a weakness or mercy... kill them all!" I roared. i didn't even wait for him to bow before me, I turned away and started heading to the main building. There were a lot of things to do and a lot of tabs to keep.

"You two!" I howled at two captains hovering in a corner.

Immediately they raised their heads and our eyes met, they started jogging toward me. "My king," they chorused with their heads lowered.

"You, what's your name," I asked the first man.

"I am Luther, my king," he replied

"Good. I need you to gather as many soldiers as you can. Then head down to the bottom of the cliff on the other side of the fields, just beyond the forest. You will find a river path... follow it, your beta is there, and he might be needing backup," I ordered, and the man slapped his fisted hand to his chest.

"Consider it done my king," he said and instantly jogged off to begin the execution.

Since that was settled for now, I turned to the second man. "Now you, I need you to get me a total number of casualties and gather up every executive member to the throne room now," I ordered, and without waiting for his reply went on to the throne room to wait for the people I requested for.

I had not seen all of them. Monty seemed fine and there was a point during the fight, where I caught sight of Nathan but aside from that, I wasn't entirely sure of the others. While my thoughts roamed, I made it a point not to think about Violet. She was the reason for all of these.

Her parents also worked with the enemy. She krew about all their crimes but like always she protected them and hid the truth from me. I made a mental note to deal with them as soon as I handled the situation.

My legs were tapping continuously on the floor when the door opened, and Aunt.

Emily and Nathan walked in.

"Monty won't be coming, he mentioned that you asked him to fucking behead some pigs," Aunt Emily said as she walked further into the room.

He could have given it to someone else to do but he decided to do it himself, which was even better. At least I would sleep well knowing that I had a mad executor doing my bidding. By the time he was done, it would take years for any revolution or attack to come up once again. "My King, you called for us," Nathan said with a bow.

I got on my feet and motioned for them to follow me. I walked behind the throne and led them to the large war table that we used for emergency meetings.

"Please brother, have a seat," I said, beckoning to him. Aunt Emily had long made herself comfortabie before I even motioned to Nathan.

I waited until Nathan was sitting and then I asked, bracing myself for the bad news,

"What's the situation report?"

"I am still taking into account the damage done. I also met with the captain you sent earlier... but on a rough scale, we were hit but it wasn't a great dent-"

"That is because nothing fucking happened to him!" Aunt Emily hissed. "They would have won, if they managed to hurt even a single hair en your head. Do you f*****g understand that?"

"Aunt, I understand everything perfectly, Let focus on the way forward," I growled with a stern look on my face. I had already received a lecture from Greg and that was enough.

"Good, because I do have something to show you. I found a fucking little snitch," she hissed and got off the table. She walked back to the throne and went beyond.

The sound of the huge doors being opened and closed, echoed behind her, and not long after, her boots returned but along with it was another pair.

As she got closer, my eyes narrowed as I saw who she was dragging along with her ... Aaliyah.

"This snitch had something to say before she fucking dies," she hissed, pushing Aaliyah forward and she fell to her knees.

The darkness in my heart seemed to move higher up within me and all I wanted to

- do in that instance was to tear someone apart. I wanted to tear Aaliyah apart.

My legs developed a mind of its own and in a fit of rage, I was before her with my hands pressing hard on her windpipes.

"My uncle had given you everything... and this is how you pay him?" I growled over her pale features.

She closed her eyes and I watched with disgust as a single trail of tears dropped down her cheeks. I was about ready to just finish her off there and then, but Aunt Emily stopped me.

"Don't kill her yet Axel, she still has something to say.." she whispered, and I clenched my teeth in frustration.

"Whatever she has to say Aunt had better be good," I hissed, before dumping her unceremoniousty to the ground.

She collapsed with her hands on her throat and the silly tears spewing further onto her dirty shirt. I hated myself for even trusting her in the first place. She could have had everyone killed if the goddess hadn't intervened somehow. "I am sorry... please forgive me..." she whimpered.

"Oh, please Aaliyah, you are stronger than these pathetic cries. You are still going to f*****g die anyway, so spill the junk of rubbish you told me earlier and let's get this over with..." Aunt Emily snapped. Aaliyah nodded as she wiped at her tears, and I watched cautiously from my corner.

Lile my aunt had said, that if the information was useless, I was going to kill her and there was no stopping me.

"I know you don't want to listen to my side of the story, and I am not going to try to defend myself but... I want you to know that this was never about you... My king this happened because of Jared..." "Oh, fucking please!" Aunt Emily hissed but Nathan stopped her.

"Please, let her continue, bullying her isn't the right way out of this. We need to get a better understanding of what shifted her loyalty because we only got a chance to win this war because she got of mind," Nathan pointed out, but I was too livid to see his reasoning.

"Spare me that junk Nathan, we turned this war around in our favor because Monty came. Not this traitor!" I snapped, turning red eyes to him.

He raised his hands defensively and said, "I know, but deep down you know I have a point...."

"Just let the fucking bitch talk already... this fucking argument is giving her more time to take in free air!" Aunt Emily growled

Nathan stepped back and I took a deep breath, imagining what Greg would have done. I wanted to kill Aaliyah for her crimes or at least watch Aunt Emily do it, but Nathan was right and so, I let her speak.

"Why do you feel my uncle deserved this sort of betrayal from you?" I asked, my voice surprisingly calm.

"You may not believe it, but I loved Jared. I thought we could have a chance... but he had left me for a certain Lycan female..." she whispered.

"Lycan female... what the fuck are you talking about? We are the only Lycan family in this realm..." Aunt Emily interjected at once while a frown formed on my face as I digested her words.

Aaliyah shook her head slowly and raised her eyes to meet mine. "That was what we all thought. But Jared had found another. A small Lycan family in the forgotten lands... he was preparing to go seek for a bride there when the revolution happened "Does that mean there is really a Lycan out there working with Willow?" I asked but once again Aaliyah shook her head again.

"There is a Lycan king in the forgotten land, but I can assure you, he isn't working with Willow. She wanted him but he kept rejecting her offer. They thought they could overpower you and then go after him too....
