POV

Five to six hours later the cry of a baby echoed throughout the room and I slanted back into bed. I was exhausted.

"Congratulations, Alpha, Luna, it's a healthy baby boy," The doctor announced with a smile. I smiled too, looking at Edward's face, it was priceless and like me, his heart was already full of love for our son.

The doctor brought the baby to me and I kissed his perfect little face before laying him on my chest.

"He's perfect," Edward whispered. Indeed my baby was perfect. He caressed my cheek and stared deeply into my eyes,

"Thank you for this, Caliana Meyers," He said and kissed my forehead.

"You're welcome, Edward Chasia," He took the baby and kissed him too before the nurse came to get him.

"Do you have a name?" The doctor asked and I glanced at Edward, we didn't discuss it but he mentioned once long ago a name he'd named his first son but he didn't speak. "Aerys Chasia," I said, glancing at him and he smiled. I could swear that I saw tears in his eyes but maybe I was wrong. "That's a beautiful name, Luna,"

My eyes were tired now and I closed them. I don't know how long I slept but I woke up in a different room. It was huge and cream white. There were tall windows that allowed fresh air and the baby crib next to me. It smelled like Edward. I smiled as I got up, looking at my sleeping baby. I noticed there were many congratulatory gifts and cards on the floor.

It has been days of bliss, the pack was celebrating the birth of our Aerys and I was thankful to my family. The Chasia brothers wouldn't stop visiting me and checking up on me. Love is most happy to have a baby brother, even though she wished for a girl but she will get what she's been given.

The door opened; Levy, Emilia, Tristin, and Blanco walked in, they hugged me tightly and gushed over the baby. Soon, Pauline walked in, she seemed to be out of breath and her cheeks were flush. Something was up with her. I stayed with my friends for some time and when they were ready to leave, Blanco embraced me tightly just as the door opened and Edward stepped in. He growled, making me step away from Blanco. The two men didn't like each other but they were civil enough not to try anything reckless. "I'll see you. Ellis asked to stay the holiday here,"

"That's fine. I will take care of him," I said. He nodded, placing a lingering kiss on my forehead. A low growl reverberated from Edward's chest and Blanco turned to him,

"Take care of her... She's remarkable," He said and Edward nodded. Everyone bid me goodbye and I was left with my mate. He sighed.

"He likes you,"

"Yes,"

"How long did you stay with him?"

"How long did you stay with him?"

"Months, may I know the point of all this?"

"You could have been with him intimately just to spite or hurt me but you didn't, thank you," He said most sincerely.

"I'm not the kind to wreck my character just to hurt or prove a point to someone," I retorted. He held my hand and brought it to his lips, kissing it, and apologized. "Aery's room is ready now and I have something for you," he said as his eyes landed on the gifts in the room.

"What is it?"

He removed a diamond necklace like that one he once gave me, it had his family insignia.

"How?"

"I had the exact one made, I knew you'd throw that one away," He said. I threw it in the river along with my wedding and engagement rings during a fit of rage and pain.

Edward put it around my neck and got on one knee, he held out a ring and I nodded. He got up, kissing me softly, and I let him. The cries of the baby jostled us and we went to the crib. I carried the baby and cooed him.

"I should feed him," I murmured,

"Need help with that?" He asked.

Six months later, Edward managed to create a space in my heart for him, the healing process was slow but we eventually got there, to a place where I trusted him again and we got back together. A month ago, he marked me publicly and I did as well. After the marking was complete, our strength and bond intensified.

My baby was growing beautifully and gracefully like an Alpha child, however, I haven't been sleeping much so I am having a spa day with the girls. I was on my way outside when I saw Love playing piano in the foyer, she was sad. I approached her and sat next to her. "Are you alright?"

"I just miss Ellis so much but we'll meet at camp," she told me, sighing. I kissed her temple and we stayed in silence.

"Are you going out?"

"Yes, I'm meeting some friends,"

"Girlfriends," She smiled at me and I chuckled but nodded. Edward joined us, he kissed me deeply before stroking Love's hair. We stayed there together as Love played a tune for us, and when she finished she excused herself to go to his brother's room to play with him. Edward grabs my waist and kisses my lips, inhaling my scent

"Going to see your friends?"

"Yea," I moaned as his kisses on my mark were endless and my body was vibrating now. He carried me abruptly and set me gently on the piano. My fingers were in his hair. I willed myself to push him away.

"Hey, this is our daughter's piano, we won't tarnish it this way and besides, I'm late for my appointment," I got off it and started to go outside but he grabbed my hand and carried me in his arms, we were in the bedroom within a minute. He pressed me against the wall and tore my clothes off,

"Savage," I squeaked, his fingers entered my p***y and I gasped. I was eager to have him in me so I took off his shirt and kissed his chest making goosebumps appear on his skin. I unbuckled his belt hurriedly and dropped his pants. He took me to the bed, and when he entered me, it was heaven. I ravished every part of him as he did me.

Our fingers interlocked as he pumped in me and I was moaning contently.

"More, please," He obliged and hastened his pace.

We soon both c*m, and he kissed me again.

"You're so good, baby," He whispered in my ear. I giggled and straddled him, kissing his throat down to his chest.

"And you're amazing," I said. He grabbed my a*s softly.

Deborah and Dean Henderson have been reaching out to me, asking to see Love once in a while, she is their family too after all, but my mate has been denying their requests for months.

"Baby, have you thought about Deborah's request?"

He squinted his eyes, displeased that I was bringing it up now.

"No, babe, we are doing something important here," He grabbed my hips, urging me to move but I didn't. I put my hands on his chest and f****d him fast only to stop again, he was frustrated and I switched our position without removing his c**k still in me. He thrust back and forth quickly until we c*m again. I was kissing him softly.

"We have to hear them out, imagine having a niece or grandchild so close yet you can't bond with them, it must be awful. Even Evelyn and Vince have a relationship with her. The Hendersons deserved a relationship with Love as well," I said softly. "Dean wants you and Deborah tried to kidnap her when she was a baby,"

"Dean Henderson wanted to use me against and it didn't work, word has it that he's getting married to Larisa finally," I sighed,

"And Deborah has been getting the help she needs, she came to see me recently again," I informed him.

"Don't tell me she's the one you're going to see today,"

"No,"

"Fine but we will have to talk to Love about it and they can't meet her without someone I trust there," He said and I agreed, smiling.

I was thrilled to report to Deborah as her manners towards me has changed completely. I wanted to get out of bed but he yanked me back, holding me tighter against him.

We stayed in silence and soon, his breath even only slipped out of bed. I wore a robe and grabbed my laptop, writing emails to Dean and Deborah to tell them what my mate's conditions were to seeing Love before getting ready for my spa date.
