- Damon -

This can't be fucking happening!

Damon was never angrier in his life. He's had many enemies before doing all sorts of things to get under his skin. He's seen people he loves getting killed, he was tortured, got his bones broken, got beaten into pulp, and got shot at. But none of that compared to this level of t*****e. Celina had gone so low. Lower than the depths of hell.

"Mmmhm," she let out a long moan as she rocked her body against him. Her hand kept rubbing his m*****d, forcing him to be something he was not.

Damon's entire body went tense. He was burning with a hot, raging fire. He pulled on the chains as hard as he could, harder than anything, ignoring the fact that he might break some bones. He didn't care. He'd rather have two broken wrists than to have to sit there and take this.

* CLANK!!! *

And suddenly, there was a loud noise followed by the sound of the chains falling. Damon had pulled on the chains so hard, that they actually collapsed from the rings that held them up. He broke some of the links open, so the cuffs became meaningless. His hands were freed.

"Aaahh!"

Celina was caught off guard. Her eyes jolted open to see Damon pushing her off of him. His hands went straight for her neck as she choked the air out of her lungs. Damon's eyes were cold and empty as he let out a violent groan. "Help!" she croaked breathlessly. "I can't breathe!"

Celina's hands were clawing at him, but Damon didn't budge. He tightened his grip around her neck and her face turned pale. With each second that passed, Celina's life was being drained out of her body. Tears began streaming down her face. "Why, Damon...? Why won't you love me?"

Celina's voice came out in breaths. She barely had any energy left. Her hands had stopped clawing and they fell to her sides.

"I can only ever love one person," Damon said through gritted teeth.

"But... I... love... you--"

Those were the last words Celina could say before her eyes rolled back and her head fell limply. Damont kept his hands around her neck still for a moment longer. And when he noticed that she wasn't breathing, Damon pulled away. Celina's helpless body lay on the bed. Damon staggered back and grabbed the gun that she left on the desk. He checked to see that there were bullets in there, and there were six.

Celina started coughing as the air began to fill her lungs again. She just passed out momentarily. Damon walked back toward the bed and aimed the gun at her head. Celina looked up in terror and shook her head, pleading no.

"My heart, my body, my everything, it all belongs to her and her only," Damon said with his head cocked to the side. "Nothing and no one can ever change that,"

Damon stared Celina down mercilessly. She was crying and begging for her life, but Damon had no remorse. She had kidnapped his wife and son. She almost let Violet bleed to death. God only knows what she would've done to his baby. And what she just tried to do to Damon, Celina was out of line. As far as Damon's concerned, she had no place being in this world. In his world, at least.

*BANG! *

Damon lodged the first bullet straight at her chest. A pool of blood began to form as Celina's eyes rolled back.

*BANG!* BANG!* BANG! *

Damon finished her off with three more shots. Two to the stomach and one to the head. He was cold-blooded and stoic. The message was clear. This is what happens when someone tries to hurt his family. That's the hard truth.

Damon took the gun as he exited the room. He was walking with no rush at all. He knew the other two guards would be coming for him soon, but he was unfazed. He went to the closet in his office and grabbed a fresh pair of suit and pants. He just finished putting on his pants when the door swung open and the two guards walked in.

Those two guys didn't know what to expect. Damon swiftly pulled his gun up and landed two shots. One in each of their heads.

*BANG!* BANG! *

The two guys fell to the floor instantly. Damon pulled the trigger again but he was out of bullets. If he had more bullets he'd rain them all down on those guys. They deserved it. This is what happens to whoever that tries to hurt his family. Letting out a big sigh, Damon threw the gun into the trash can. He then picked up his suit and leisurely walked to the door, leaving all that blood flooding in the room.

- Violet -

It was dark where she was at, and the first thing Violet noticed was the sound of a baby crying. The cry got louder and louder until it was all that she could hear. Violet jerked her eyes open and realized that she was standing in an open field. There was tall grass all around her and nothing else in sight. "...Mommy...!" the baby's cry got louder and louder. "Mommy!"

Violet turned her head in the direction of the cry. She didn't know whose cry that was, but only one thing came to mind. That could be her baby. Violet started racing down the field, pushing through the row of tall grass. And suddenly, she found herself in an area surrounded by tall trees. "Mommy!" the voice called out again.

Violet stopped and looked around. The voice was echoing. She didn't know where to go.

"It's over there,"

Suddenly, she heard a voice. Violet turned around and gasped in shock. Sabrina was standing in front of her. Sabrina was, of course, Damon's girl when she first came to the estate. Damon got bored of her soon enough when Violet came in. She never forgave Violet for that. So much so that she sold information about Violet to the Maranzano family and Violet was kidnapped after that.

"...Sabrina?"

"You look like you've seen a ghost," Sabrina said with her hand on her hip.

"How are you... here?" Violet blinked her eyes several times, making sure she wasn't seeing things.

"Well, it's 'cause I'm dead," Sabrina said simply.

"What?"

"You don't think Damon will let me live after what I did, do ya?

Violet swallowed hard.

"Damon... killed you?"

"Nah, he got someone to do it for him," Sabrina whipped her hand carelessly in the air. "No women and children. That's his rule,"

Violet fell quiet. She never knew about this. Damon never told her. Of course, Damon wouldn't tell her about these things. As much as he could, he always sheltered her from the gory details of his life.

"Speakin' of children, go on. He's waiting for ya," Sabrina nudged her head to a direction. Violet paused and studied the direction Sabrina was pointing. It was deeper into the woods. "Mommy!"

Suddenly, the cry was heard again. Violet didn't think twice before running inside. The cry got louder and louder and it was coming from behind a tall tree. Violet quickly went toward it, searching the area. "Zach?"

"Looking for me?"

Instead of finding her baby, Violet looked up to see Isabella sitting on that tree.

"Isabella?" she gaped in shock.

"Hello, Violet," Isabella smiled and jumped down. "I didn't think I'll be seeing you here so soon,"

"What is here?"

"The afterlife,"

"What?"

"Yeah, everyone that is here is dead," Isabella shrugged.

Violet couldn't believe what she was hearing. If she was among the dead, what does that mean for her?

But before she could even ask, Isabella suddenly turned around and started sprinting deeper into the woods. "Hey! Wait! Hold on!"

Violet chased down as hard as she could, but it was like Isabella had disappeared. Violet kept running until she felt something tripped her leg. She fell head first onto the ground and rolled down.

"Well, well, well. Look who it is,"

Suddenly, another voice was heard. Violet was still lying down, but she turned her head around and saw Celina. Violet's eyes jolted wide in shock. Celina was covered in blood. There was a bullet hole in her head, chest, and stomach. The sight of her was so repulsive, she looked like a walking corpse.

"C-Celina..." Violet staggered back. "What happened to you?"

Celina just scoffed.

"Damon happened,"

"He... did this to you?"

"That's right," Celina stepped forward and Violet clawed her way back. "This is what your husband does for a living,"

"No," Violet shook her head. "He's not that person anymore,"

"He says no women or children, right?" Celina stopped moving and pointed to the bullet hole on her head. "But this is what he did to me,"

Violet struggled to get up. She stayed on the ground and Celina started moving closer again. Violet crawled her way back.

"You've married a monster, Violet,"

Violet shook her head and continued crawling back.

"Everyone who got involved with him ends up dead,"

"No!" Violet clapped back.

"I'm telling you once and for all. He's not the one for you. You should get out while you still can!"

Violet kept squirming and she felt something hitting her hand. She grabbed onto it and realized that it was a gun. Violet slipped her finger through the trigger hole and swiftly pointed the gun at Celina, stopping her tracks.

"You're wrong, Celina!" she yelled. "Damon is the one for me. The only one!"

Celina stopped moving instinctively. Violet found her strength and stood up. She kept the gun pointed at Celina.

"Remember, you're choosing to be with a monster,"

Violet was unfazed and kept her hand straight. If this happened to her a year ago, she would feel some type of way. But after everything that happened, after all those days and all those nights with Damon having her back, Violet couldn't turn her back on him now. "He's not a monster," Violet said again, pulling the safety off the gun. "And even if he is, then so be it,"

Celina stared her down challengingly.

"You wouldn't dare," she said.

Violet didn't say a word. She took one last look at Celina, took a deep breath, and pulled the trigger. *BANG! *

"Violet... Violet...?!"

Violet found herself in the darkness once again. But this time, she felt some kind of warmth and a bright light shining above her head.

"Violet...?"

She kept hearing her name being called. And slowly, she began to recognize that voice.

Damon!

Violet jerked her eyes open instantly. Under the bright, white fluorescent light, she started to make out a familiar shadow. The first thing she noticed was his jet-black hair. Then she made out his dark, piercing eyes. His nose. His jaw. His lips. It was really him. "...Damon..." she croaked. "...Hey, sweet girl..."

Violet's vision became clearer. It was then that she noticed Damon's eyes were filled with tears. Not just that, tears were literally streaming down his face. "Damon..."

Damon responded by burying his face into her neck. His hands were holding onto her tightly. Violet was shocked by all of this. She didn't know what to do.

"Oh, God, I don't wanna lose you," he said through labored breaths. "I can't live without you..."

At first, Violet thought that this must be a dream. But then her hand reached up slowly and she ran it across his hair. She could feel every strain. This was real. Damon was really here, holding her in his arms.

"I'm here," she whispered. "I'm right here..."

Damon held her tighter in his arms. He took in a deep breath before whispering out, "I love you, my sweet girl. I love you so much..."
