Chapter 1240

Elaine was lying on the bed, watching a drama on her phone. She was bored to tears since she couldn't go anywhere due to her injury, hence, she spent her time watching dramas. 2

When the drama was at the peak of its plot, the loud and ear-deafening honk echoed continuously from outside her house which irritated her to the extreme. She stomped to the balcony to have a look and saw a brand new Bentley parked in front of her house. The annoying honking came from the same car. 6

Elaine shouted angrily, "Hey, who the f*ck are you? Are you f*cking crazy? Why are you honking in front of my house?" 2

Christopher saw Elaine standing on the balcony yelling expletives through the car window. He grinned and said, "Look, Mom, the shrew is out cursing!" 4

"Haha!" Lady Wilson was overjoyed by Elaine's reaction and said, "That shrew loves money the most, and if she knows that we are getting back on track, she'll be so pissed off and jealous. I'll create an illusion inside her head that I'm willing to accept them back into our family. She'll definitely come and curry favor with me like a dog, then I'll shame and humiliate her!" 2

Lady Wilson grinned triumphantly. She pushed the door open and got out of the car, planning to show off with Elaine, but unexpectedly, a basin of cold water was poured directly on her head, i Splash!

Lady Wilson cursed in great dismay, "Elaine, you f* eking b*stard! Why are you pouring water on me!"

Lady Wilson cursed furiously, "Imbecile! This is a Bentley! Bentley Continental! Fully imported from the UK, priced at three million!"

Leaning on the balcony railing, Elaine said with a face of disdain, "Hah! Driving a three-million-dollar car makes you feel so awesome and cocky, huh? Do you know what kind of cars my daughter and son-in- law drive?"

Lady Wilson sneered, "A BMW 520! Do you think I don't know? Let me tell you, I can buy her ten of those cars!" 1

Elaine snorted contemptuously, "Stop barking nonsense in front of my house, you cocky old bat! A three-million-dollar Bentley, so what? My son-in-law has two luxurious sports cars and each one of them is forty to fifty million dollars! We can buy ten of your cars! Can you just find a mirror and look at your green face?" 6

Harold wound down the window, stretched his head out from the driver's seat to look at Elaine, and mocked in a cold voice, "Elaine, you still love to brag s o much even after losing both your front teeth, huh? How can Charlie the loser drive a fifty-million-dollar car? He doesn't even deserve to touch such a car!" 3

Elaine spat a few pieces of peanut shells at Harold and said despicably, "Harold, don't try to be a hero here. If you have the time, you should quickly go to the hospital and have your DNA tested to see if you are a descendant of the Wilson family. After all, your mother loves to sleep around so much that it's possible you're not your dad's biological son!" s

"Shut up!" Harold growled furiously when he heard Elaine make fun of her mother's affair again. "If you keep spouting bullshit, I'll cut your tongue off!" 4

Elaine stuck her tongue out and said, "Come on, come and cut it off, you little son of a b*tch! You think you're so capable!" 6

Harold was so angry that he pushed open the car door and stomped agitatedly while screaming at Elaine. 1

Lady Wilson gestured for Harold to stop and said," Harold, shut up, I'll talk to her!"

Only then did Harold shut his mouth in fury.

Lady Wilson looked up at Elaine and said with an arrogant face, "Frankly speaking, Elaine, the Wilson family has turned over a new leaf now! We have survived the debt crisis thanks to the eighty million investment and we're ready to get back on track! Are you jealous? If you beg me nicely, maybe I'll show mercy and let Clare and Jacob return to work for Wilson Group, and your pension will be restored."
