The commotion immediately attracted Jacob's attention. He was so bewildered and astonished when he saw his mother. After a long moment, he turned to Charlie and asked," Hey, Charlie, i-is that my mother? That is my mother, right?"

Charlie smiled faintly and said, "Yes, Dad, that is indeed Lady Wilson."

Jacob gaped in shock. "W-Why is she wearing a staff vest?! Did she come to work here?"

Charlie nodded. "It seems like it."

Jacob said, baffled, "Something's wrong. Didn't Donald Webb give the Wilson family a capital injection? He even bought them the Thompson First villa. They should be living a very prosperous and comfortable life now!"

Jacob didn't know what had happened over the past two days. He didn't know that Elaine had been kidnapped by his own brother and nephew, and he didn't even know that Donald had surrendered a considerable part of his family assets and become Albert's slave. So, of course, he didn't know how miserable the Wilson family had become over the past two days.

Charlie said, "I heard that Donald has withdrawn his

capital." "What?" Jacob exclaimed, "What's wrong with him? How could he withdraw his capital just like that?! Besides, why did he do that? With his net worth, the investment in Wilson Group should be a piece of cake for him, right?"

Charlie shrugged and said with a smile, "Well, we'll never know."

At this moment, Jennifer poked Lady Wilson's ankle with the mop a few more times and chided in disgust," Old coot, get the hell out of my way! I'm mopping the floor here!"

Lady Wilson sobbed, "Jennifer, the supervisor assigned me to get the plastic bags for the customers, and she will fire me if I don't do a good job. So, I beg you, please spare me, okay?"

Jennifer snorted coldly, "I did have a lot of respect for you, but you should know clearly what you have done. Have a taste of your own medicine!"

Then, she sneered and spoke as she ground her teeth," Listen to me, old coot. Even though I'm just an uneducated peasant woman, I'm fearless! I especially do not like people to look down on me! It doesn't matter if you beat me up, but you shouldn't insult me!"

With that, she put away the mop, and as she passed by Lady Wilson, she bumped her on purpose, knocking her onto the aisle next to her, causing the latter to grimace in pain.

However, Jennifer did not bother Lady Wilson anymore after nudging her and went to another aisle to mop the floor.

Standing on the spot, Lady Wilson's face twisted in a sorrowful scowl. She mumbled to herself in grief and anger, "I have been the honorable lady of the Wilson family for so many years. I've never been bullied like this! She is too much!"

"What's even more unacceptable is that I have to come out and do this kind of undignified part-time job despite my old age!"

"All these years, I've never even washed a single cup in the Wilson family! But now, here I am in the supermarket, tearing plastic bags for the customers to save their time!"

"What else can I do if I don't take this job otherwise?"

"I have to starve if I don't take this job."
