Helen had been wanting to visit Aurous Hill for almost twenty years.

Ever since the death of Curtis and his wife, she had wanted to visit Aurous Hill at least once. After all, that was the place where Curtis had finally resided and perished.

Helen responded with a smile, "You don't need to arrange a hotel. Your grandfather has an old mansion in Aurous Hill, which has been taken care of over the years. We'll stay there." 3 Sophie asked in surprise, "Oh? Grandpa has a house in Aurous Hill? How come I've never heard of this?"

Helen said, "Your father is a bit evasive about Aurous Hill, so he has not taken you there for many years, so naturally, you wouldn't know about the mansion." 3

Then, she added, "Anyway, your grandpa's ancient mansion in Aurous Hill is amazing. It's right next to the presidential palace. The century-old mansion was resided by many prominent and influential families over the years. Your grandpa bought it in the '70s with a lot of money. He and your grandma would stay there for a few days occasionally." 3

Jaime instantly thought of the past when he heard that his father was evasive about Aurous Hill. He had heard about the past and knew that Curtis Wade, the love of his mother's life, had died in Aurous Hill. That was why he was in a dilemma now.

Sophie, on the other hand, said without hesitation," Mom, why don't you spend the night at Grandpa's house and get some rest. We'll go to Aurous Hill first thing in the morning!" 1

Helen said, "Okay. You two don't talk to your father about me and him. No matter what, this is between the two of us. It will only affect my relationship with him, but it will not affect the relationship between you and me, as well as you and him. Do you understand?" 3
