As Jaime and Sheldon were talking, Sheldon's phone suddenly rang.

He glanced at the screen, and the caller ID indicated that it was his brother, Steven.

Steven chuckled and said, "Hey, Sheldon, the car as well as the plane are ready. It's time to send you to the airport."

Grinding his teeth in dismay, Sheldon replied in a cold voice, "Okay. I'll have a few more words with Jaime and come down soon."

Steven quickly said, "Sheldon, you'd better not delay this any longer. Father is waiting for my update. He wants you to leave as soon as possible."

Sheldon held back his anger and said, "Okay, I'll be there in five minutes!"

"Alright!" Steven laughed. "I'll be waiting for you at the door, and I'll personally send you to the airport later!" 3

Sheldon ended the call without saying anything more.

He then turned to Jaime and said in a solemn tone," Spend more time with your mom and report to me if there's anything."

Jaime hoped that his parents could reconcile, so he nodded very seriously and said, "Alright, Dad. Don't worry, I know what to do."

Sheldon nodded, stood up, picked up his luggage, and said, "I'm leaving now."

Dejectedly, Sheldon suppressed his annoyance and said, "Since it's Father's order, let's get going, then!" 6

With that, he gestured at the driver to take the luggage from Jaime and put it into the back of the car, and he said to Jaime, "Jaime, look after your mother and sister."

Without a word, Sheldon stepped into the car and waved his hand to Jaime, signaling him to go back.

Steven smilingly sat next to Sheldon and said to Jaime, "Alright, Jaime, go home and rest. I'll see your dad off to the plane." 5
