At noon the next day, Charlie and Claire flew to New York in the United States on the transoceanic flight of Air Oskia. The entire flight took sixteen hours, and by the time the both of them arrived in New York, it was already 2.00 pm local time.

Charlie was usually used to taking the Concorde which was three times faster compared to a civilian airliner, so when he took this ordinary plane, it felt like a direct descent from a high-speed rail train to a regular train.

Fortunately, he had bought them first-class tickets, and they could lie down and sleep : n the first-class cabin. Otherwise, the journey would have been particularly tormenting.

After a sixteen-hour flight, Claire was still in a very good state, and she did not look tired or exhausted at all. On the contrary, she was feeling some anticipation and excitement.

After getting off the plane, the couple took another hour or so to complete the process of entering customs and picking up their luggage.

Charlie picked up the car that he had arranged in advance, and after loading all their luggage in the trunk, he drove Claire to their final destination, Providence.

This was Claire's first time in the United States, and her curiosity about a foreign country made her feel very excited on the way, and she was constantly looking left and right. They drove north through the bustling New York, and Charlie then followed the navigation instructions, driving all the way toward the northeast.

Four hours later, the both of them finally arrived at Hilton Hotel in Providence.

Kelly, who was responsible for hosting the master class, was already waiting at the hotel in advance.

Just as the both of them had walked into the lobby of the hotel, a Caucasian woman in the lounge area ran over happily and said to Claire, "Claire, you're finally here!" The person who had called out was Kelly.

This was because she had returned to the United States two days before the auction and had already started to prepare for the master class as she was the person-in-charge of this master class. She had heard Claire saying that she would

be arriving at Hilton Hotel in the afternoon and so, she had come over in advance to wait for Claire to greet her.

Claire was also very surprised to see her, and she blurted out, "Kelly, what brings you to the hotel?!"

"I'm here to give you a good

reception!" Kelly smiled and said, "It's

already after six o'clock, and we are

just in time for dinner. It just so

happens that I've made a reservation at the Hilton Sky

Restaurant. We can go after

you've put your luggage away and take a short rest."

Claire said, "I'm really sorry for making you spend money."

Kelly had a straight expression on her face as she said, "Do you really need to be so calculative with me?"

As Kelly spoke, she looked at Charlie and

smiled as she asked, "This is your husband, right?"

Claire hurriedly nodded and smiled as she said, "Kelly, let me introduce you. This is my husband, Charlie Wade."

After saying that, Claire hurriedly said to Charlie, "Charlie, this is Kelly Wearstler, my idol that I've been telling you about."

Charlie looked at Kelly and said politely," Hello, Madam Wearstler. I've heard a lot about you."

Kelly hurriedly extended her hand and said, "Mr. Wade, you're being too polite. I've also heard a lot about your great name when I was in Aurous Hill."

Although Kelly did not know of

Charlie's exact origin and

background, she knew that this was

a man that even Kathleen had to be

careful around and had to curry favor with. This fact alone was already sufficient to prove that this

man was not ordinary.

After the both of them shook hands and exchanged a few words of courtesy, Charlie said politely to the both of them, "The both of you can continue chatting first. I'll go and settle the check-in procedure." The both of them nodded slightly. After that, Kelly asked Claire in a low voice," Claire, why haven't I been able to contact Kylie over the past two days?"

Claire did not know Kathleen's real identity yet, and she thought that her good friend was Kylie Jane, the French-Oskian.

In truth, Claire had also been trying to contact Kathleen over the past two days but to no avail, just like Kelly. Kathleen's cell phone was turned off, and it seemed as though she had evaporated into thin air without a trace.

So, Claire said truthfully to Kelly, "I'm not going to lie to you, but I haven't been able to contact her over the past two days either. Could it be that she has already left Oskia for some urgent matter?"
