The pleasant dinner soon came to an end. Claudia and Stephanie helped Mrs. Lewis t o clean up the table and do the dishes. Suddenly, Claudia's cell phone rang. It was Gopher.

As Claudia answered the call, Gopher's voice came from the other end. "Claudia, I'm already in front of Stephanie's house. Tell Mr. Wade to come out." Claudia said, "Wait a moment. I'll talk to him."

With that said Claudia hung up and whispered to Charlie, "Mr. Wade... No, Brother Charlie. Gopher's already at the door."

Charlie nodded. He went to Stephanie and said, "Stephanie, why don't you accompany me out for a walk if you have nothing to do?"

Stephanie knew at once that Charlie was going to Gopher's casino. She agreed without hesitation and said, "Sure, Brother Charlie. Wait for me." After that, she said to Mrs. Lewis, "Mrs.

Lewis, I'm taking Brother Charlie out for a walk. You don't have to clean up the dishes. Just ask Claudia to put them in the dishwasher later."

Mrs. Lewis laughed. "That's alright. I don't have much to do, anyway. Why don't you and Claudia go out with Charlie?"

Claudia was stunned for a moment. She quickly muttered an excuse, "I...I won't be going... I'll just stay and help you clean up."

Mrs. Lewis, who was kept in the dark, smiled brightly and said kindly, "That's fine, I can clean up by myself. You can just tag along with them. It must be boring for you to stay home right after work."

Claudia considered her options. Finally, she nodded. "Okay, Mrs. Lewis. In that case, I'll go out with Stephanie and Brother Charlie."

Claudia was quite anxious about the whole thing. She decided to follow Charlie and see how the situation would unfold.

Charlie didn't mind. If Claudia was willing to come, he had no problem with it.

With that, the three of them went out the door together.

A brand new Rolls Royce was parked right behind Stephanie's secondhand Chevrolet.

Gopher was in the driver's seat. He tossed his medium length hair as he waved at the three of them, grinning in a friendly manner. "Hey, everyone! Here!'

Claudia looked at the Rolls-Royce. "Is this a new car?"

Gopher replied with a hearty laugh.. "Nah! How can I afford to buy such an expensive car? It's my boss's new car I borrowed it from him"

Then, he turned to Charlie with a smile. "Hey, dude! My cousin sister said that you wanted to play a couple of games in the casino." Charlie nodded and said nonchalantly, "My hands are itching, and I can't sleep without playing a couple of games."

Gopher laughed again. "Claudia should've introduced me to you, no?"

Charlie curled his lips. He ignored Gopher and said to Stephanie, "Stephanie, open your car trunk."

Stephanie nodded, and then unlocked her secondhand Chevrolet with.

Charlie went to the rear of the car, opened the trunk, and took out the three hundred thousand Canadian dollars in cash.

He then used a translucent plastic

bag to store the money. Gopher could see the bundles of cash inside at a glance. Joy filled him as he thought excitedly to himself, 'Looks like Stephanie's cousin brother who came out of nowhere really is a rich guy!'

Charlie carried the money with him and took the Rolls-Royce's passenger seat next to the driver's seat.

He turned to Stephanie and Claudia, and said, "You two can sit in the back."
