Chapter 4029

Andre let out an ecstatic yell, rousing his men into excitement.

They were all in high spirits, eager to board the ship and look through every nook and cranny.

Andre pressed his pistol against Charlie, grinning. "Mr. Wade, please lead the way."

Charlie said nothing and complied in silence, taking a step forward as he entered.

Andre and Gopher followed closely behind, with the crowd cheering and swarming in from behind them.

The power part, control area, and the crew's living quarters were all in the stern of the cargo ship. The front part was full of cargo storage.

From the cabin door, they entered a stairwell with a steel structure that led to the engine room, and then to the cargo hold. However, these passages were locked in advance. They could only climb the staircase and go all the way up.

None of them, Andre included, were interested in the structure of the cargo ship. They simply wanted to rush to the top floor and take control of the entire bridge.

The entire gang rushed up in a swarm, never once noticing anything amiss.

At this moment, there were a few soldiers from the Ten Thousand Armies on the bridge, with Porter leading them.

The gang arrived together with Charlie. When Porter saw Charlie, he said politely," Mr. Wade, we're ready. When do you think we should set sail?" "You still want to set sail? Ha!" Andre, who was next to Charlie, let out a derisive sneer before raiding his pistol and pointing it at Porter's head. "Tell everyone to stop what they're doing and gather on the deck. If anyone dares to call the cops, you'll be the first person I kill!"

Porter stared at the pistol, quite taken aback. Then, he sighed and said to Charlie," Mr. Wade, I'll be honest. I can't seem to remember the last time I had a pistol pointed at my head. This is quite surreal..."

Andre didn't expect Porter to be so

brave as to talk back despite his gun. He narrowed his eyes and snarled viciously, "Young lad, don't brag! There are many hidden and outstanding talents in Vancouver that you don't know off. An

insignificant ant like you might die without even knowing why or how if you offended someone!"

When Charlie heard this, he couldn't hold back his laughter. Amid his chuckles, he said to Porter, "Porter, this is the boss of the Vancouver Italian Gang. Well, he's said to be very powerful in Vancouver. Impressive, no?" "Impressive and powerful?" Porter laughed along with Charlie. "Mr. Wade... To tell you the truth, I still have some knowledge about the situation in Vancouver even though I don't do business in North America"

With that said, he shot Andre a

contemptuous look and sneered,

"This small place has a population of less than one million. This guy here is far from being a hidden outstanding talent. At most, ke could be considered as part of ordinary folk."

Despite the small population, there are surprisingly many gangs here. There will always be more immigrants in countries with larger populations. They'd usually form a small group of their own. The Italians can't even rank in the top three on the scale, and their combat power isn't even within the top five. In earlier years, even the Vietnamese gangs could suppress them. Had it not been for the Oskian gangs who rose and defeated the Vietnamese gangs, the Italian gangs would've already gotten kicked back to Sicily."

"Bastard! You're digging your own grave!'

Porter's words enraged all the gang members, including Andre.

Andre even unlocked the safety of his pistol, as if to say that he would finish Porter off if Porter kept spewing nonsense

All of them knew that their gang didn't rank amongst the top three in Vancouver, and that their combat prowess didn't rank among the top five. Still, to hear a nobody spell that out to them was a humiliating insult. Porter's last sentence struck a raw nerve.

It was especially painful as over the years, the Italian gang had to go through a string of terrible misfortunes.
