As the person who fought hard for this achievement, Nathaniel hoped to become the first chairman of the newly-renamed National Oskian Chamber of Commerce after the merger.

However, there were two other Oskian Chamber of Commerce associations that were no less powerful than the New York Oskian Chamber of Commerce. Namely, the Chamber of Commerce from Los Angeles and Chicago.

Nathaniel was fraught with painful headaches when he despaired over how he could compete with the chairmen of these two associations.

He had been trying to figure ways to raise the New York Oskian Chamber of Commerce's influence before the merger. That way, he could gain an advantage over his two dissidents.

Homer was pleased with Nathaniel's compliments and respectful manner of speech. Smiling, he said, "Chairman Luke, I heard that our New York Oskian Chamber of Commerce is the largest Oskian Chamber of Commerce in the United

States. You must have contributed

to it!"

Nathaniel hurriedly said, "Young Master Fox, you're flattering me... The New York Oskian Chamber of Commerce has had a history of several decades. Its achievements are all thanks to all the previous chairmen." Nathaniel then asked carefully, "Young Master Fox, may I know the purpose of your grand visit today?"

Homer gave Nathaniel a faint smile

and announced smugly, "I came to see you because I want to collaborate with the New York
