The Bolivar’s Mansion is huge and breathtaking. Sophie takes me to the backyard where the party will be. It is already decorated with lights and everything. Food and drinks are already there

” There’s even c**k and weed,” she Informs me, I gasp and before I can say anything, she covers my mouth with her hand, looking me in the eyes as she says slowly,

” Don’t go all mum on me now, I want it to be the party of the year,” she says, flapping her hair. I roll my eyes as we go to Happy, he was helping the servants with making the drink table.

A few minutes later, We go inside. The house is amazing and I laugh at pictures of Jay as a child. I stop when I see a picture of Ahyan, jay, cole, and Lyon hung up on the wall near the stairs, there is another for when they were children.

” These guys go back, eh,” I say with a smile

” Yes, they’ve been inseparable since they were three or four,” she says. Birds of a feather do flock together. These are the elite teens of Royal City.

” The guests are starting to arrive, let’s go change,”

Sophie’s room is gigantic, it’s all pink and white. Everything looks chic and has a walk-in closet that is as big as my room back home.

” It has stairs?” I look at her in disbelief. She nods.

” My aunt and uncle treat me like a princess,” she smiles and hugs a pink leather jacket.

At last, we find her a classy silver short dress that has an open back and a plunging low neckline, my girl looks hot.

” Hello,” a maid walks in, holding a lot of clothes in her hands

” Thanks, Sandra, put them there,” says Sophie.

The shy girl exits the room

” I ordered those for you, please pick which one you like,” she says as she wears her shoes.

” You ordered this just for the party?” I ask to astound, they are so many clothes in here.

” Well you possibly can’t fit in my clothes, you’re curvy. Lucky b***h,” she says.

” You shouldn’t have,” I mutter. This girl does so much for me already.

” You’re my best friend and today, we are dressing to kill,” she says excitedly.

I end up picking a nude dress, it is chic and showcases my body.

” Please let’s switch bodies,” she cries. I chuckle

” Let us, please,” I do look sexy in this outfit and I chose open high heels similar to Sophie’s. We do our make-up and head downstairs. We find Tomas and Jake waiting in the foyer and I remember Ahyan was jealous the last time he saw us.

” I invited them,” she whispers in my ear as we descend the stairs

” Welcome,” Sophie says, kissing Tomas’ cheek softly, he looks shy.

He introduces us to his other friends ” these are my friends, Kate and innocent,” he says. And to his friends he says,

” Guys this is the beautiful Sophie and Amara, my new friends,”

We exchange pleasantries. The door opens and Happy makes his entrance

” Guys, the partyyy is freaking awesome and everyone is asking about you Soph,” he says and runs back to the garden.

” Let’s party!” We go to the backyard.

As soon as we step into the backyard everyone’s gaze is on us, I didn’t know they’ll be so many people and I cast my eyes on the floor.

” Head up, you look more beautiful than anyone here. Own it,” Sophie says. I smile and look at the people, they are softly smiling or nodding in approval. Their eyes are not of hate or disgust.

The music is playing, and everyone is chattering or dancing but suddenly it goes silent and there is a shift of air, I can smell him, Ahyan is here. The DJ stops the music, and everyone’s eyes are at the entrance and I follow the crowd’s gaze. Ahyan and his three friends walk in, looking mighty like they own the place, oh Jay does. They look like Greek gods, with them are women I’ve never seen before, they are touching them and enjoying the attention. I feel like throwing up and my stomach churns unpleasantly. They stand in the corner of the room and immediately a dozen people surround them.

” Who are those women?” I whisper to Sophie, she gasps as Cole k****s one of them deeply. Collecting herself, she smiles and holds Tomas’ chest, kissing it. I close my eyes momentarily, this won’t end well.

” Dj, why did you stop my music!” Sophie screams at the top of her voice and the music starts.

We are dancing softly to the music while Sophie who’s already had so much to drink is hyped up. Wrapping her hands around Tomas and kissing him as they dance closely. I see Cole’s expression darken with each second that pass.

” Hi!” A voice says close to my ear. I turn to Jake with a smile. I can feel eyes boring through me but I don’t turn.

” Wanna dance with me?” Jake asks, grinning. He looks tipsy as well and before I can answer him, he pulls me close to him and takes me near the poolside to dance.

” Where are your friends?” I ask.

” They are somewhere, enjoying the party,”

After dancing to two more songs, I join happy and Brian by the bar. They smile at me and we talk.

I glance at Ahyan but he ignores me. Did I do something wrong? I notice Debra and a few girls are touching him but he doesn’t even pay attention to them, he looks bored.

” I’m hungry, I want chips,” Sophie cries, as she and Tomas come up to us. Yep, wasted. Tomas nods to go but I stop him, I want to pee anywhere. I go inside to use the bathroom and then come out. I get Sophie her potato chips from the kitchen and walk through the crowd, other guests are in some part of the house, drinking, and making out in corners. I yelp as someone grabs my butt.

” Hi sexy,” a drunk voice says in my ear.

” Don’t touch me like that again,” I growl. He smiles as he takes a step closer, I back away until I’m in a corner, growling at him.

” Want to make out with me?”

” No,” I say and turn to walk away but he grabs my arm. Leaning close to me while I struggle to go free. A growl resonates from somewhere close and I exhale, looking at an angry Dragon Prince.

” Just who the f**k do you think you are to touch her like that?”

The drunken boy’s eyes widen at the voice, backing away from me. Ahyan’s aura is intimidating and too imposing for an ordinary wolf like himself. The guy is staggering and shaking in fear.

” Pri- prince Ahyan, sorry sir,” he bows, it’s like he suddenly got sober. Ahyan’s fists are shaking as he approaches us but before he can lunge at him, I intervene.

” Go, I don’t want to see you here or ever,” I say. He nods furiously before making a run for it. Without a word, Ahyan turns to walk away but I stop him.

” Are you angry with me?”

” No, why would I?” I go closer to him and look him in the eye.

” You can’t meet my gaze, and you turn away from me,” I say softly. He sighs.

” You seem busy with all your new human… boyfriend,” he says like it’s acid on his tongue, I raise my eyebrows, he’s jealous.

” He’s not my boyfriend!” I say in a high-pitched tone. He only sneers and eyes my outfit. I fidget uncomfortably.

” Why did you dress like that? All the males are eye f*****g you,” he begins to walk again and I follow. We are near the garage attached to the mansion, he leans against the wall and removes a blunt to smoke, he puffs out smoke and inhales. I scowl, not liking the smell of weed. We are silent, and I hug myself as the cold air heat my skin.

” You look cold, go inside,” he says, still not looking at me as he continues to smoke. I peer up at him, his eyes are far away.

” I’m not cold,” I murmur, not wanting to leave him. Once he’s done smoking, he suddenly pulls me in an embrace, as usual, It’s warm and I relax. Prince Ahyan takes off his leather jacket and put it on my shoulders.

” Let’s go back in, I’m sure Sophie is looking for you,”

He grabs my hand as we walk and I’m taken back, once again, sparks erupt all over my skin.

The party is at its peak now, the music is blaring and everyone is either smoking, dancing, or drinking. He lets go of me and I go to my friends while he does the same. I watch them, watch him, and my heart flutters.

Tomas and Jake had to leave because there was an emergency at the store, they spoke about a fire but they were able to contain it, and luckily nothing was destroyed however, they had to go check.

We are dancing to the music, and I’m having a good time, hands in the air as we move our bodies to the beat of the new fast song. I feel hands on my waist and from the sparks, I can tell it’s him. His face is close to my neck and I can feel his breath on my skin, giving me goosebumps. I grind on him and I can feel his e******n against my a*s. I glance over to my left, Cole and Sophie are together, dancing and smiling, okay, I didn’t see this one coming but I love everything. I wish it could be like this forever but no, it was all about to change.
