Today is a good day, I stretch my arms and let out a yawn. I look to the side of my table and find a yellow rose, I’ve been getting different ones every day for a few weeks now. Ahyan is sweet and gentle towards me. We don’t spend all our days together as his workload in the company and the realm is increasing. My phone rings and I pick it up, ” Hello,” I answer with a smile.

” How are you, love?” I hear his deep voice.

” I’m good, how are you?”

” Exhausted,” He sighs. He is out of the city with his uncle, Enol, renewing a treaty with one of the dragons’ Nations.

” You work too much,”

We discuss a little before I start to get ready for school with the help of Sandra again, now getting used to the young servant who is always assisting me. I wear a dress at school today, heels and a Chanel bag the Queen gifted me. Sandy is helping me with my hair while I do my make-up. After, half an hour, I finish and look into the mirror.

I go downstairs for breakfast and surprisingly, I find Lulu and the two Princes eating at the table. I k**s my sister’s cheek and salute the Princes before taking a seat.

” I see you slept here again,” I smile, She nods happily while eating her favorite croissant.

” Princess Venice and I had a sleepover,”

” Was it fun?”

” Yes, Prince Liam joined us at some point,” I glance over at Liam who smiles, next to him, Prince Axel is brooding and quietly eating his breakfast.

‘ Do you think both Princes like Lulu?’ Rhudo asks. I nod but my sister seems to have her eyes set on Prince Liam, and who wouldn’t? Prince William is a charmer and is nice to her, while Prince Axel is always grumpy.

‘ How cute!’ Rhudo Purrs.

It is indeed cute to watch, while Axel glance at her without any emotions on his face, William smiles and touches her hand whenever he gets a chance. We finish eating and get up as Mr. Cullen announces that the drivers are ready, Princess Venice is rushing towards us with a frown, she has bags under her eyes.

” You didn’t sleep again,” Says William, while the Princess greets me and goes to stand next to my sister with a perfect smile.

” Why didn’t you wake me?” She frowns.

” Well, you didn’t sleep all night so I thought I should let you rest,”

She nods and one of the servants brings her an apple. She takes it and turns to her brothers

” Finally someone is going to school today,” She sighs, Prince Axel doesn’t answer, instead grabs his bag and throws it over his shoulder, and leaves the room silently. Happy calls for me, I give my sister one last k**s and hug before going to the car.

The school is the same, students in the hallways, talking and chatting. Some even greet me with respect and smiles. They treat me with kindness.

After attending my Geography class with Sophie, we split as she has art class. I’m getting my book for my next class when I meet a girl I didn’t think I would, Farah.

” Hi, Amara,” She waves, smiling at me. She is wearing a mini dress and high-heeled boots, her lovely long hair falling to her back.

She walks to me and gives me a quick hug, I squint my eyes and pull away with a smile.

” Farah, what are you doing here?”

I don’t hide my surprise.

” Well, I’m staying in the city a little while and I want to take some dance classes here,” She informs me, I smile a bit at her enthusiasm. ” Well, I don’t have friends here, can we be friends?”

” Uum, sure,”

I escort her to the administration. Farah wants to do ballet, and she’s very good at it. I have a free period so I wait for her to get everything done. After a few minutes, she gets it done and I give her a tour of the school. I introduce her to Happy and Brian as they were together in the hallway. They are getting closer and closer every day. However, Brian is observing her intently, sniffing the air. Happy mentioned that he’s a very good tracker in the pack.

” What are you?” He asks, and Farah stiffens next to me, she smiles tightly at me and swallows

” I’m human but well aware of the supernatural,” She says. There are humans in the city because some werewolves are mated to humans.

” You do smell like one but there is a mixture of something, or maybe you just surround yourself with supernatural creatures,” He says

” Yes, you’re right,” She smiles again.

We go outside to get some sun, we are sitting on the benches and chatting when I smell something intoxicatingly good. I immediately stand up and follow the scent. Ahyan gets out of his car, looking handsome as hell and my heart accelerates and the butterflies in my stomach don’t settle.

” That is one sexy, hot guy,” I hear Farah whisper, I glare at her but her gaze is on Ahyan. I growl, only then does she look at me.

” Mine,” my eyes flash a dangerous color making her gasp in surprise. His mouth keeps opening and closing.

” Uum- oh I didn’t know,” She stutters.

” Ahyan is taken boo, I don’t want to break up another catfight,” Happy says, inspecting his fingers.

I feel arms around my waist and a k**s on my neck, I turn around to face my mate, wrapping my arms around him, while his hands are around me as well. I close my eyes as we share an embrace, taking in his scent.

” I missed you,” He whispers.

I pull away from him and caress his growing beard, he smiles and k****s my hand gently. I notice Farah has gotten to her feet as well, looking at my Prince in awe, she has a tiny smile on her face and I don’t like it one bit. Ahyan doesn’t even glance at her busy, placing k****s on my hair, he sighs and wraps an arm around my waist.

” You smell so good,” He breaths, I blush.

Ahyan sits close to me and finally greets everyone now. Happy as usual just ignores him, my best friend will never trust Ahyan but promised to tolerate him for my sake.

” oh babe, this is Farah, the girl who helped me out of the woods, Farah, this is my mate, Ahyan,” I introduce them quickly. Farah extends her hand to him but the Prince only nods. ” Um, I was camping with some people when I saw her in the woods then helped since I had a compass,”

” Geography is not her strong subject, that’s why she’s always getting lost,” Happy laughs.

We stay there a while longer until Ahyan realizes something, he rushes back to his car and pulls out something, a black velvet box, and gives it to me. I smile and open it, I gasp at the beauty of the necklace I find, it is a diamond dragon pendant necklace. The most beautiful I’ve seen.

” Wow, so pretty!” Says Farah, getting it from my hands and inspecting it.

” Looks expensive too,” Happy adds, getting it from Farah a bit forcibly and giving it back to me. I give it to Ahyan so he can help me put it around my neck. I hold my hair up as he does and k****s my neck. I touch the pendant again and turn to face him, giving him a small k**s on his cheek.

” Thank you,” He nods.

” Don’t take it off, please,”

Ahyan says it gives strong protection and the person that made it is a powerful warlock, to the pendent he added Ahyan’s b***d and dragon scales.

” Yo, that feels deep,” Says Brian, indeed, Ahyan did go far for this but I love it, as we talk, he is caressing my neck gently as he likes to do. The bell sounds and it’s time for me to go to class. I give my Prince one last k**s.

” I’ll see you later,”

” You stay together… At the castle?” Asks Farah in a monotone.

” Yes, I’m crashing,” I say, speaking of which, the Queen insisted I stayed longer at the castle and get familiar with everything.

” How do you know we stay at the castle,” Asks Ahyan, his tone imperious, I’ve noticed his attitude towards her is unpleasant, I’ll talk to him about it later. Farah smiles awkwardly, blushing a little and my eyes darken at that.

” I think someone here might have mentioned it,”

Ahyan grabs my hand ” I’ll escort you to class,”

I wave to the three of them, as we go back

” Do you not like Farah?”

” I don’t know her,”

Even now he still has an angry expression, he releases a sigh and stops walking.

” Go or else you’ll be late,”

I climb the stairs and look back at him, he is still watching me. Some girls giggle flirtatiously at him and I growl.

Even in class, I was thinking about why Ahyan acted so rude and indifferent towards her, I don’t think she offended him in any way, she was even trying to make conversation with the grumpy Prince of mine.

Rhudo is too busy to think about Farah as she is busy gushing about Ahyan and Drakon, and how sweet they are to us. I clear my head too and try to concentrate.
