Chapter 1571
They stood out among the couples with such an effortless grace.
Since the moment they took the stage, David had been keeping an eye on them. Although he had long
accepted Romeo as his future brother-in-law, he never imagined that he'd play the role of a
matchmaker and witness a proposal, pouring out his blessings.
"How about we give the gentleman a minute to make his proposal, folks?" David's voice filled the room
through the microphone. "And for the guys in the crowd, now's your chance to call that special lady and
confess your love."
The audience erupted in cheers once again.
David made a shushing gesture, and silence fell over the room once more.
With a gentlemanly wave, he signaled for the men to start their declarations of love as a giant screen
began a 60-second countdown.
Each man on stage took a knee, slowly expressing their love to the women before them.
Romeo was no exception. He took Arabella's hands in his and knelt down, his voice tender and
sincere, "Bella, from the moment I saw you, you've taken root in my heart. In this lifetime, I want no one
but you. Even though we're already promised to each other, I still want to propose properly. Marry me. I
want to give you a lifetime of happiness and protection, to be with you forever, openly and honorably,
caring for you, being with you, protecting you. Before coming to this concert, I found out about the
proposal segment, so I designed a ring especially for you."
As he spoke, Romeo took out an exquisite box and opened it to reveal a stunning diamond ring that
sparkled brilliantly under the lights.
"Say yes, Bella," Romeo urged, his expression filled with hope and nerves.
"Time's up—" David cooed at the women, "Ladies in the audience, do you wish to marry the man who's
just proposed to you? Let's hear your answers loud and clear."
Many women shouted in unison, "I do."
Arabella merely smiled, gazing at the man before her.
Romeo grew more anxious.
"Louder, let the men hear your hearts," David encouraged.
"I do—" As all the women voiced their consent, Arabella also spoke up, her beautiful lips forming the
words Romeo longed to hear his entire life.
"What are you waiting for, fellas? Put the ring on your lady."
Overwhelmed with joy, Romeo slipped the diamond ring onto Arabella's finger, they both removed their
masks, and shared a kiss filled with deep affection.
The stage was a sea of couples, each locked in a heartfelt kiss.
David began to sing his third song, "Romance," and even the couples in the audience couldn't resist
joining in the embrace.
The venue was awash with warmth and romance.
Pink petals continued to flutter down.
As David finished the chorus, some couples slowly pulled apart, their eyes brimming with sweetness
and joy.
They sang along with David, dreaming of their happy futures together.
When the song ended, David announced with a smile, "Tonight, as your matchmaker, how about I treat
everyone to wedding candies? I'm thrilled to witness such an important moment in my fans' lives and
wish all of you who receive these treats a future filled with happiness, adventure, and soaring success."
Suddenly, the sky rained down countless foam heart-shaped boxes in pink, light blue, and all sorts of
colors.
The fans screamed with delight, reaching out to catch them.
These foam hearts were soft to the touch, and inside each was a pair of wedding candies.
The newly engaged couples on stage also received envelopes from the staff, filled with surprise and joy
at the unexpected red packets.
Some opened them on the spot to find two concert tickets with no expiration date, meaning they could
attend any of David's future concerts.
No more tickets needed.
