After saying this, Felix turned and walked out, leaving Alex standing there, dumbfounded.

Seeing Warren head for the door, Alex quickly came to his senses and grabbed hold of him. "Warren! Y-You know Mr. Zeller? Why didn't you say so earlier?

Alex wasn't joking. If he crossed Felix, one word from him would have even the manager packing up, let alone a deputy manager like himself.

Warren didn't refuse. He simply replied, "Thanks for that."

He thought that Alex's respect for Felix must have stemmed from Felix's connection to Kane, so he didn't dwell too much on it.

As he walked out of the bank, Warren spotted Felix waiting not far away. He walked straight over.

"I'm truly sorry, Uncle Warren," Felix said with his head lowered. The guilt weighed heavily on him.

"What do you have to be sorry for? You're doing great, strutting around under Lord Kane's name and acting all high and mighty.

"But could you do me a favor and let everyone know that you and I are no longer connected? You have a big gang protecting you. I can't afford to cross those people."

Warren's words were sarcastic, but Felix had no right to be upset. After all, this was all his fault.

"Hugo won't be a problem anymore. It was just an accident. Uncle Warren, tell me how I can make it up to you."

Warren let out a snort. "I'll be grateful if you and your people just stop bothering me and my family."

Though Warren didn't know how Felix had managed to deal with Hugo, there was no guarantee it would end there. Felix's growing arrogance from his ties to Kane made it likely he'd provoke an even more terrifying enemy next time.

Warren wasn't one to shy away from a fight, but he wasn't about to let himself be dragged into something he didn't want any part of. When he first heard that Felix had angered Kane, he hadn't hesitated to confront Kane himself, but things were different now. "Uncle Warren, please just give me a chance to make up for this," Felix pleaded.

He knew that if things ended here, he wouldn't even have the face to visit Matthew's grave in the future. He truly wanted to make amends for the mess Hugo had caused.

Warren looked at Felix. Knowing Felix's personality, he decided to speak frankly. "You want to make it up to me? Sure. Since you said so, do you know Stellar Group? One of Dragonia's top ten companies. I've heard that they will be coming to Avesburgh tomorrow. "They're planning to build a city within a city in the suburbs, with an estimated investment of 50 billion dollars. If you're really sorry, make my Velocis Ventures one of the partners. Can you do that?"
