Olly and the man from Inferno Clan were still standing, but their eyes were wide with disbelief. A moment later, blood trickled from their mouths.

"You... you..." Olly sputtered, unable to get out another word before he and the middle-aged man collapsed.

Felix shook his head with a wry smile. "Rosalie I could've handled this myself."

The woman who had appeared was Rosalie Evan, his senior. Even Xena could not match her beauty.

Rosalie rushed to Felix's side before touching his face and legs. He dodged away. "Oh, Felix, let me check if you're hurt."

Felix was terrified. He had experienced Rosalie's boldness all too well during his three years in Eden Village. One wrong move, and she would eat him alive, leaving nothing but bones.

Rosalie pouted and glanced at Xena. "This woman is useless. If someone dared touch my man, I wouldn't waste time talking. I'd have already taken them out. Yet she's still playing by the rules. Should I just off her so you and I can ride off into the sunset?" Used to such wild talk from Rosalie, Felix quickly said, "No way. Let's just get out of here."

"Okay, okay. Mr. Hoffman was passing through Avesburgh and wanted to check on you. I'm starving, by the way. Take me to get some food."

His nine seniors were always elusive. They had all left Eden Village, but finding him was child's play for them.

A while later, Xena came to. Staring at the two corpses nearby, she wondered who that woman was. Was she connected to Felix?

A flood of questions hit Xena. She was still in awe. That woman was stunningly beautiful and impossibly powerful. Without even moving, just a pulse of energy knocked Xena out cold and instantly killed Olly and the other guy. It was mind-blowing.

She knew the woman had not intended to kill her, or she would be dead too. Nevertheless, she had to explain Olly's death to the Great Imperial Sect herself. Otherwise, the sect leader would be furious, and Felix would definitely be caught in the crossfire again. Meanwhile, Rosalie was savoring some fondue at a restaurant in an alley. "Delicious! This is amazing, Felix. You really know what I like."

Knowing Rosalie's taste, it was inevitable he would bring her here. "Hurry up and eat. Xena's probably got people looking for me."
