"Bring a few capable fighters with you; the others shouldn't join. They're just cannon fodder for the God of Death. Your job is only to locate him. Meanwhile, back in Kane's courtyard, Felix was grilling some meat. He was hungry, and there was no way he would have eaten a meal with Xander.

So, after some casual conversation, he had come back to his own place.

"What? Are you just going to sit there watching me grill meat?" Felix suddenly asked, though it seemed he was addressing no one in particular.

About ten seconds later, a thin, elderly man appeared a distance away. He was dressed in a black suit, and his sharp gaze was piercing.

"You're the only target I've observed for so long without making a move. No wonder the others were troubled by you. Someone your age, yet you can detect even my presence. Calling you a prodigy wouldn't be an exaggeration," the man observed.

Felix continued grilling, unfazed. "So, you're an assassin from the Inferno Clan? I was wondering why things have been quiet for so long. Turns out you were holding back for a big move."

The old man cracked his neck and gave a sinister grin. "No more talking. I am the last remaining founder of the Inferno Clan, known as the God of Death, Today, I've come to send you to death!"

Instead of fear, Felix chuckled in delight. "That's perfect. It looks like this annoying itch of Inferno Clan won't be bothering me anymore.

"I'll only use one move. Whether you live or die, it depends on your fate."

With that, Felix raised his hand, pointed a finger, and muttered under his breath, "Three- Breath Thunder!"

Though the night was bright with moonlight, the sky suddenly rumbled with the sound of thunder. The God of Death, who had been ready to act, immediately tensed up. His expression became deadly serious. "Ghost Step!" the God of Death shouted.

In the next instant, the God of Death moved. He dashed swiftly to the left with a strange technique, leaving an afterimage in his original spot.

Just as he dodged away, a bolt of lightning struck the ground where he had stood.

But now, the God of Death was charging directly at Felix. It wasn't that he didn't want to use his techniques. Instead, something ominous was brewing in the sky. He had no time but to combat Felix more directly. Boom!

Another bolt of lightning crashed down. Although he dodged it again, it came dangerously close this time. It almost struck him.

Feeling the danger, the God of Death's scalp tingled. He didn't care to continue the assault and turned to flee, but it was too late. Boom!

The third bolt of lightning tore through the sky and struck him directly.

Felix shook his head slightly. "You really are like a rat scurrying through the streets. There are quite a few powerful fighters coming in this direction. If I'd known this would attract so much attention, I would've handled it more discreetly." What irritated Felix the most, though, was the presence of a particularly familiar energy among the forces coming in. It was Xena's.
