tense up.

"Mr. Vernon, I could have been killed if you came any later," Baldo complained.

The old man raised his hand, eyeing Felix. "I'm Vilebane Vernon. Have you heard of me?"

Vilebane? Felix shook his head. "No."

Anger flashed across Vilebane's face. As he made a step forward, thunderous booms could be heard instantly. Over a dozen craters exploded in the ground. He could cause such destruction with just one casual step. Vilebane was really on another level. "Ha! That bastard miracle doctor really doesn't even think I'm worth mentioning to his disciple! How delightful!"

Felix remained still but was ready to strike. This was his first real threat ever since he became Gerald's disciple. Honestly, he was not sure about his chances. Vilebane was just too strong.
