"What do you want?" Her cold tone immediately irritated him.

Felix calmly picked up his teacup after sizing her up. "Why should I stop? You should have stepped in front of my car if it was urgent."

The woman sneered, "If there weren't so many witnesses around, you think I wouldn't have? Come with me. Become my puppet, and you'll discover what true glory means."

Felix took a sip of tea and shook his head. "You're just a piece of trash barely reaching the Martial King level, yet you dare make demands of me?"

Without Felix making any visible movement, the woman suddenly collapsed, unable to feel her legs. Terror crossed her face as she realized this young man's power far exceeded hers

she could not even detect his movements, let alone defend against them.

"You'd better release me, or everyone in your bloodline will die!" When Felix continued drinking his tea, ignoring her, she pressed on, "I'll tell you the truth-I work for Madam Spring. Are you sure you want to make an enemy of her?" Felix frowned, recognizing the name of the powerful old woman from a conversation between Averill and Leslie about a high-profile incident.
