The Rise of a Master: It Starts With Rejection -
Billionaire With Husband 337
Chapter 337
Julia felt justified in her attitude, both from her assumptions and because financial checks were indeed required to purchase at New Glory it was company policy.
Looking at Felix's attire, with no designer labels and not even a luxury watch that any successful person would wear, Julia was convinced he was just a nobody trying to show off.
Felix remained calm. "A financial check? Where do we do that?"
"We can verify it right here," Julia said with a smirk, thinking Felix was just another shameless person.
Someone quickly brought over a card reader while the other agents shared Julia's skepticism about Felix's buying power. Only Michelle inexplicably believed in him, though her position made her hesitant to speak up.
"Sir, please present your bank card and enter your PIN here. The machine won't charge you -it just needs to verify you have at least ten million dollars in available funds. The light will turn green if successful," Aaron Turner explained. Felix nodded and handed over his card. The moment Aaron glanced at it, he froze.
"Aaron, what are you waiting for? Run the verification!" Julia snapped impatiently.
Aaron suddenly became extremely respectful. "Sir, please wait a moment," he said as he quickly pulled out his phone to make a call.
Julia was puzzled by his reaction. She peered at the card and gasped. "A Concord Bank Diamond Card?"

However, these cards required a minimum of five billion dollars in deposits to qualify for consideration-and even then, approval was not guaranteed. It must be fake!" Since it had come to this point; Julia had to persist in her belief. Otherwise, she would be held responsible if Felix turned out to be fake.
Just as Aaron hesitated, a middle-aged man in a suit rushed over. He said, "Sir! I'm the manager here at New Glory. Please accept our sincerest apologies and allow me to escort you to our VIP reception room for personal service." Felix smirked. "Weren't we doing a financial check?"
The manager waved his hands and replied, "With a Concord Bank Diamond Card, just

showing it is sufficient. Please forgive our oversight."
After all, no one would dare forge a Concord Bank card-the penalties were severe, and the cardholder could not fake actual payment.
"I still think we should verify it. The card's authenticity is questionable," Julia persisted.
The manager had just eased the tension, but Julia was still running her mouth. The manager pointed toward the door and declared, "Report to HR immediately. You're dismissed!"
Top sales or not, Julia had overstepped in a way that was now risking the company's reputation.
"It's fine-let's do the financial checking right here," Felix insisted, wanting to establish his credibility for Michelle's sake and put Julia in her place once and for all.
When the green light illuminated on the card reader, everyone was stunned. Such a young man with a Concord Bank Diamond Card seemed impossible, and Julia's face turned pale as she realized how big a mess she had made. Today's Bonus Offer
