"I thought you'd be so smitten with someone else that you wouldn't even have the heart to listen to my concert," Delilah said grumpily.

Delilah laughed. "Silly, did you really think Leslie told me?"

If not, then how did Delilah find out? How could Delilah get such information if it was not from Leslie unless Gerald mentioned it? But there was no way that kind of thing would be spread around for every disciple to hear!

"All right, enough teasing! Leslie wasn't poisoned at all. It was just a scheme she and Averill cooked up to get you. Think about it. If she really had been afflicted with such a rare poison, wouldn't Gerald have informed you directly? Why go through Averill to reach you?" Delilah pointed out.

"What?" Felix felt as if he had been struck by lightning, standing frozen in shock. It had all been a show? The entire act was just to get him to sleep with her?

"I'm telling you the truth now because I know they're already plotting their next move and hoping to get Averill to sleep with you as well. But don't worry, Felix, you're not easy to win over."

Delilah was secretly delighted. Felix urgently explaining himself to her showed that he had her on his mind, and that was all she needed to know.

She was surprised when she saw the person approaching her-Jaden.

"Jaden? What are you doing here?" she asked, visibly surprised.

Jaden wore a serious expression. "Your uncle called me. You'd better go see him quickly. He's not in a good state."

Right after the concert, Xena received a call from Perry, asking her to go somewhere as soon as she could, or else he would disown her as his niece.
