Jack was still uneasy after hanging up. Then Vanessa asked with a grave look, "Are you sure you heard right? Did they say Crimson Sage Sect?" "Yeah! What's wrong? Do you know about them?"

Vanessa's eyes showed a mix of emotions. "Crimson Sage Sect is an extremely powerful organization. Felix is in serious trouble this time."

What? Jack did not know much about these matters, but his girlfriend was a martial artist, so he had to trust her judgment. "Damn it, let's go! We can't just sit here doing nothing!"

The only thing he could do now was contact everyone he knew or tried to find out if Felix had any powerful connections they could reach out to.

"Wait, Félix's phone is still on the table. I'll grab it," Vanessa said.

When Vanessa came back, Felix's phone suddenly rang. Looking at the screen, she remarked puzzlingly, "Xena? Isn't that Dragonia's goddess of war? How does Felix know someone like that? No, it must be someone else with the same name."

Jack did not care about the details: Any lead was worth pursuing right now. He grabbed the phone and answered. "Are you Lady Summers?"

On the other end, Xena paused. She was surprised by the unfamiliar voice. "Yes, that's me. Where's Felix?"

Jack saw a glimmer of hope. "Felix is in trouble! Crimson Sage Sect took him. You're the goddess of war, so you can save him, right?"

Xena's anger flared. She immediately knew who was behind this. "I'll make sure he's safe."

Meanwhile, in a car leaving Canraville, Jaden observed Felix curiously, who sat expressionless beside him. "You acted so tough before. But when things got real, you turned into such a coward. That's smart choice though. If you'd pissed me off, I might have killed you right here on the road!"

Originally, Jaden had planned to finish things quickly. But he changed his mind after how Xena was in such a rush to turn him away. Felix's public execution would serve multiple purposes. At least he could gauge Xena's feelings toward Felix and maybe even use this as leverage to win her over.

He just could not understand how Xena had still fallen for this worthless man after everything. "Are you still going to spout that nonsense about focusing on your career for five years? Xena, you know how I feel about you. As for Felix, forget it. I'm not letting him go.
