"You recognized him quickly! Yes, it's your boyfriend Felix. I'm not wrong, am I? This guy solved my Bloom Seeds, and you took care of him for quite a while. Can you really say there's nothing between you?" Sonny taunted. Xena's mind went blank. That explained why Felix's phone was unreachable. Sonny had kidnapped him, too.

She demanded, "What are you trying to pull here?"

Sonny stepped in front of Curtis, giving her a smug look. "I told you, it's just a game. Now, let's start. Watch closely, Lady Summers."

After removing Curtis' gag, Sonny asked, "Should I kill you or him? One of you must die while the other lives."

Curtis remained calm, glancing at Felix before responding, "Kill me. I'm old and have lived long enough." Then, he turned to the phone camera. "Xena, live a good life with Felix he's someone worth trusting."

Xena screamed hysterically, tears streaming down her face, but she was helpless to do anything.

"Well done, Mr. Summers Senior. Such noble thoughts-no wonder you raised a granddaughter who's about to become a Warlady," Sonny praised before moving to Felix.

As soon as his gag was removed, Felix began pleading, "Don't kill me! Please don't kill me! I don't want to die, please!"

Both Xena and Curtis froze, shocked by Felix's desperation. Something felt off as this did not seem like him at all.

Sonny laughed. "You don't want to die? Then you should ask me to kill the old man instead. That way, you'll survive. Understand?"

Without hesitation, Felix agreed. "Yes, yes! Kill him! He's so old anyway. I'm still young. I don't want to die!"

"Felix, I was so wrong about you," Curtis said, trembling with anger.

Felix ignored him and turned to Xena. "I'm just a regular person now. What's wrong with wanting to live? I only helped those children because I knew it wouldn't risk my life. Don't good deeds deserve rewards? Why should I have to die?" Xena's face turned pale. She never imagined that the man she had admired could fall so low in the face of death.

"Well, well, the game ended quickly. Both chose the same answer, leaving me no choice.

Time to send Mr. Summers Senior on his way," Sonny announced, walking toward Curtis.

"No! Please, no!" Xena screamed.

Suddenly, a loud explosion rang out, and Sonny's face changed. "Who's there?"

The signal disappeared in the ensuing blast wave, leaving Xena crying uncontrollably. No matter how strong she was, at that moment, she was just a woman overwhelmed with worry and grief.

"Deploy all available Wolfie troops! Find them, dead or alive!" Xena ordered through her radio.

Alistair hesitated before speaking. "Lady Summers, could this be some kind of plot? I don't believe Mr. Zeller is the type to fear death." a

Xena glared at him coldly before leaving with one final command. "From now on, never mention Felix's name in front of me!" 1

Alistair frowned. While he had not interacted much with Felix, their few encounters had given him some insight. Felix's behavior in the video seemed too deliberate, almost as if he was trying too hard to appear cowardly.
