The Rise of a Master: It Starts With Rejection -
Billionaire With Husband 424
Chapter 424
"Do not meddle with Felix anymore, Andrei! Dragon Alliance is rising again," Samuel said over the phone.
"As you command."
In the Hawkins residence in Canraville, Andrei hung up, shaking his head with a faint smile.
"What's going on, Mr. Hawkins?" Theodore asked.
Walking over to the window, Andrei replied, "The elder said that Dragon Alliance is on the rise again and that I should stop provoking Felix." The rise of the Dragon Alliance?
Theodore's brows furrowed as he considered this, a hint of astonishment crossing his eyes. "Could it be that the founder has reappeared?"
"I don't know, but if the elder is saying this, then Dragon Alliance's resurgence is inevitable. At least I did my best. Perry would understand in the afterlife and wouldn't blame me," Andrei said, turning to Theodore. "Warn Pierce to let go of any hatred toward Felix. If he tries any tricks secretly, he'll pay for it. I tolerated him taking his mother's surname once, but there won't be a second time." "Yes, sir!"
Meanwhile, at a restaurant in Canraville, Felix was having a meal with Wendy.
"Is the business here going well?" Felix asked.
Wendy nodded. "Yes. By the way, Felix, there's something I'd like to discuss with you."
"Go ahead. No need to be so formal with me."
Wendy didn't beat around the bush. "I'd like to hire Jack to manage our family's businesses in Canraville and Avesburgh. What do you think?"
"Jack?" Felix thought for a moment, then smiled. "That's between you two. You don't need my approval.
"Alright, then. I'll talk to Jack about it."
Given the circumstances of Yvonne and Felix and the likelihood that Stellar Group might actually be
part of Lady Nala's enterprise, letting Jack leave would be a sensible move. While he couldn't interfere directly, Wendy's helpful suggestion had come just in time. 1
At that moment, Madeline called.

Chapter 474
"Maddy, I thought you'd forgotten about me," Felix answered playfully, his tone so warm that it even made Wendy a little envious. What kind of woman could make Felix talk like that?
"Enough joking! I'm calling about something important. Luke and I are getting engaged. You wouldn't skip the engagement party, would you? You know I wouldn't be able to get married if it weren't for you." Felix thought it was rather soon. However, considering how Luke's sister, Lilian, behaved, he figured that Luke's parents were probably similar.
"Of course, I'll be there!"
"Good. I told Jack as well. You all can come together, and don't forget to bring Jack's girlfriend. He promised me they'd come."
After he hung up, Felix received a text message. He looked at it, then said to Wendy, "Wendy, go ahead and eat. I'll be right back." "Alright, Felix."
When Felix stepped out of the private room, he saw an elderly man waiting outside.
"Are you Seven?"
The old man respectfully replied, "Yes, sir. I am Seven."
This man was a member of the assassin organization founded by Averill. The name of the organization was rather unusual-Flair. Only Averill would give such a name to an assassin organization. "Before you give any orders, there's something I need to report. My lord has instructed me to let you decide how to handle it."
"Oh?" Felix was intrigued. "Go ahead."
"Half an hour ago, our assassin organization received a contract. The target is... you." 3
