Felix ultimately arrived at the Wolfie troops' base, though he was quite hesitant and didn't even know why himself.

He followed Alistair down to an underground room, where Xena was already present.

Sonny was confined in a cell, looking haggard and clearly having endured some tough days, though it meant little for someone like hit. "Sonny, I'm here. You can speak now."

Xena felt complicated. She was about to hear the truth. She would finally know whether there was a hidden story or if Felix truly was a coward.

Sonny grinned, stood up, and slowly approached the iron bars, looking at Felix. "You're

here.'

Suddenly, his hysterical laughter echoed through the underground space. "You really came. This woman, Xena, must mean a lot to you! But so what? You're here, and I was just toying with you. You tricked me once, so now, we're even." Felix was emotionless. He hadn't expected that Sonny summoned him just for this.

Xena shook her head and turned to leave, but Alistair became anxious. "Sonny! A man must stand by his word."

With a cold sneer, Sonny sat back in his original spot, clearly unwilling to speak anymore.

"Forget it. If he's not afraid of death, there's no point in asking," Felix said as he left and caught up with Xena outside.

"Don't speak to me!"

"Did she think I wanted to?" Felix thought.

He ignored her reaction and said directly, "Please tell your cousin Aimee and that Finnley guy not to bother me anymore. Since we have nothing to do with each other, let's not interfere in each other's lives."

Strangely, Xena felt disappointed by his words. 'I'll tell them."

A day passed, and as night fell, a luxurious estate on the outskirts of Canraville bustled with activity. This was the venue for Ernest's birthday celebration, and Felix had just arrived.

As he stepped out of the car, a Bentley pulled up, and Nala got out of the car with Yvonne.

Felix wondered if Ernest also invited her, but he shrugged off that thought.

However, her presence suggested that even though Ernest had retired, his influence remained significant. His son was also steadily rising in power. It all made sense. "Aren't you going to say hello?" Nala teased as she watched Felix's back. "Since it's over, there's no need for anything else." Yvonne maintained her aloof appearance, but deep inside, she was excited to see Felix again.

Felix hadn't walked far into the courtyard when George ran up to him.

"Felix, I knew you'd be here."

George's eyes changed as he scanned Felix from head to toe. "Wow! That new outfit makes it hard to recognize you.

Felix was wearing the blue suit that Wendy had insisted was the best choice. Though he didn't rely on clothing to stand out, the suit did make a difference. "What? Do I always have to wear casual clothes?"

"Of course not. Ryan is also here. Join us if you're free. It's all young people."

Felix declined George's offer and walked further in. He had to greet Ernest first.

Entering the mansion, he was greeted by a grand, luxurious hall.

Ernest was engaged in conversation, and Felix paused.

The person Ernest was talking to was Xena. Although he didn't expect her to be here, they were still all part of the same circle.
