Chapter 44

Felix blinked in surprise. He didn't expect that Sasha thought his purchase of the villa was linked to selling the porcelain teapot.

"Well, it's up to you if you want to think that way." He was unwilling to explain or clarify, as it would likely lead to endless questioning. After the house tour, Warren was quite pleased. Suddenly, he felt a bit unwell.

When Warren went to the washroom, Nattie took the opportunity to say, "The gold you gave us back then was worth at most ten million dollars. Now this villa is valued at 25 million dollars. "If I say the extra amount is interest, you probably wouldn't believe it yourself! But in any case, we are fully settled. Do you have any issues with that?"

Felix was nearly convinced by Nattie's logic. She talked as if the porcelain teapot belonged to her.

"Fine. Whatever you say," Felix replied.

Nattie then took out a printed document. "I understand you likely don't have the original IOU with you, so just sign this. Otherwise, it's just an empty promise." When he gave the gold to Warren back then, Nattie also insisted on a formal IOU.

"I'll sign," Felix said.

Once Felix finished signing, Nattie and Sasha finally smiled. They had settled one matter and could now handle Felix without restraint.

Just then, Felix's phone rang.

Seeing that it was Louie from Sunrise Bids, Felix felt a burst of excitement, thinking it might be news about the herb.

Felix answered the call. "Is there any news?"

"Yes. We've obtained it. However, as you mentioned, Grimflower is very hard to distinguish and can easily be confused with Beamflower. We'd appreciate it if you could verify it yourself. "We've paid half of the money. If it turns out not to be Grimflower, a refund can be arranged at any time," the caller said.

Felix smiled. "Alright. Give me the address, and I'll head over now."

Just as he hung up the phone, Warren came out of the washroom.

Felix informed him, "Uncle Warren, I have something urgent to attend to, so I need to leave now. Please lock the door when you leave."

"Okay. Go ahead with your business," Warren responded.

Watching Felix rush out of the neighborhood, Sasha couldn't help but sneer. Someone like him who didn't even have a car was acting like he was some big shot. Just the thought of it made her laugh.

Louie arranged to meet Felix in a private room at a restaurant at 3:00 pm. Felix was puzzled by Louie's choice of location, but it didn't matter. The herb was the priority.

"What a pity! It's Beamflower. But this can still fetch a good price," Felix remarked

Louie sighed. "Sorry for making you come all this way for nothing, Mr. Zeller."

Felix smiled and waved his hand. "No. Sunrise Bids has proven its sincerity. I'm quite satisfied with your promptness. Keep up the good work, and I'll ensure you receive a personal reward of seven figures or more. Well, I shall take my leave now." Louie was excited when he heard about the seven-figure reward and became even more motivated "Mr. Zeller, have a safe trip."

With money able to move mountains, Felix didn't mind spending whatever it took. If it meant improving Louie's efficiency, spending a few million dollars was worth it.

As soon as Felix stepped out of the private room, he heard an ear-piercing voice echoing down the hallway. "Let go of me! Get your boss over here! I know Felix. Tell your boss I really know Felix!"
