Two of the Thirteen Aces had been captured by chance, but the records from the headquarters showed Xena had made the arrests. That was undeniable.

As she scanned the audience, Xena maintained her military bearing. But her eyes froze on the back row.

Felix? What was he doing here?

Quickly composing herself, she delivered the standard promotion speech. After the ceremony, everyone left promptly, as this was not a social gathering where people would enjoy food and drinks. When the crowd cleared, Felix approached her. "Congratulations, Xena!"

She had mixed feelings. She did not expect his presence today-even hearing him congratulating him. "Thank you."

Felix left with a smile, having achieved his goal

Almost immediately, Aimee rushed over with dissatisfaction. "Xena, someone let a nobody like Felix in on your big day! We need to investigate this, and he shouldn't get away with it, either!"

Truthfully, Xena felt oddly pleased by Felix's presence. Both the God of Death's capture and Sonny's case had involved him. But when she remembered his cowardice in that video call and how he had told Sonny to kill Curtis, she was filled with resentment again. "Someone let him in? Who?"

Before Aimee could answer, Leia approached. "She did!" she said.

Xena turned, puzzled. How did Felix know Leia? It seemed unlikely.

"Hey! You brought Felix in, didn't you? I saw you! Tell Xena everything!"

Xena snapped out of her thoughts. She then glared at Aimee. "Take Grandpa home. Now."

Then, she smiled at Leia. "Sorry about my cousin's behavior, Lela."

Aimee was stunned.

Xena was now Phoenix Warlord, yet she was being so polite to this woman. Who was she? And how did Felix know her? Though she had loads of questions, she knew this was not the right time to ask. So, she escaped instead.

"Lady Summers, Lord Downy requests your presence." Leia did not even mention a thing about Aimee, showing how unbothered she was

As they walked, Xena could not help asking, "Do you know Felix?"

Leia shook her head. "No."

No? Something did not add up, but Leia seemed sincere.

"I'm not trying to accuse you, but you did bring him in, right?"

"Yes. I brought Mr. Zeller in." Leia had even addressed-Felix so politely.

Knowing Leia's precise nature, Xena had to ask directly, "Could you tell me why?"

As expected, Leia finally answered seriously, "I don't know. I was just following Lord Hector's orders."

Lord Hector! Xena stopped in her tracks with an incredulous look on her face. There was only one "Lord Hector" in Leia's world. It had to be the Warlord of the East!
