Felix rode the electric scooter onto the campus of Shunnington University, smiling as he watched the energetic students coming and going. It reminded him of his own college days. The security was quite relaxed, and they let him ride right in. He stopped near the basketball court where they promised to meet. He watched the students play while waiting. Nancy was teaching a class. She told him on WhatsApp to come later and that she would wait for him at the gate, but Felix declined. The entrance was too busy. It was quieter here and less troublesome.

Felix was still watching the game when a basketball flew his way, but he caught it with one

hand.

"Thanks, man!"

He tossed it back with a smile, and the game continued.

About 20 minutes later, some students rushed past. Their conversation caught Felix's attention. "Hurry up!"

"I'm running! Are you sure that Azurian guy Drake Sterling is back?"

"Obviously! Why else would I call you to watch? But it's understandable. Ms. Yonder is so pretty. I'd switch majors just to take her class."

"Agreed. Everyone thinks she's one of our school's most beautiful professors! And even though Drake comes every week in different sports cars, like the rich heir he is, Ms. Yonder never gives him a second glance. It shows her integrity."

Felix actually hoped someone would successfully court Nancy. Then, it would get Vanessa to back off with her matchmaking. Though their interactions were limited, his judgment of character was usually spot-on. Nancy was not the type to be swayed by money.

Stroking his chin thoughtfully, the students' conversation gave him an idea. Seeing a female student walk by, Felix stopped her. "Excuse me. Would you take 500 dollars to deliver this scooter to Ms. Yonder?"

The student looked wary, likely only stopping because he mentioned Nancy's name. "Here. Give me your bank account number. I'll transfer it now.

After receiving the money, the student beamed "Don't worry. I'll wait for Ms. Yonder and hand it to her personally."

Felix smiled and hurried away. He had no choice. What if Drake showed came? Felix would likely become the target of resentment, especially with students gathering to watch the drama.
