"Dad, did you anticipate this?" Jeffrey thought helplessly, knowing he could only prepare to collect Felix's body. No one had expected the Craydens to break from the rule so drastically. Suddenly, a muffled boom echoed through the air. Omar's figure reappeared, stumbling backward several steps until he reached Malcolm's side, shockingly coughing up blood. "Show yourself!" Malcolm cried out in alarm. As he looked closer, he saw a short, middle-aged man standing expressionlessly about six feet in front of Felix.

"Since when did the Craydens earn the right to discipline members of my family?" As the voice rang out, a young man emerged from a nearby building, casually chewing on a toothpick. "Asher Greene!" Malcolm, being from Yartford, recognized the young man instantly. While Jeffrey did not know him personally, the name Greene carried enough weight on its own.

The Greene family was one of the few families outside the Eight Great Martial Families that commanded their respect. The fact that they dared to strike Omar directly showed their strength. "Malcolm, how dare you attack a Greene!" Asher stated coldly.

Omar's aggression immediately deflated. Seeing this, Malcolm quickly explained, "There must be a misunderstanding! We're after Felix. He has nothing to do with the Greene family." Asher walked over with his hands behind his head. "Actually, Felix is one of ours. Though he's a cast-off heir, the Greene family blood still runs through his veins. Get it?"

Asher spat out his toothpick, his smile vanishing. He shouted, "Then, what the hell are you still doing here? Get lost!"

He turned and walked a few steps before noticing Felix-had not moved. "What are you waiting for? Come with me," he said impatiently.
