Ethan's face shifted through a series of emotions before he scrambled into the car. "Quickly, Mr. Samson! Let's head back to Medic's Haven!"

As the car sped away, Felix remained irritated, Those fools had chosen a spot with surveillance cameras. If it were somewhere more secluded, there would have been no need for all that talking. He'd have dealt with them directly.

On top of that, Alistair was present. Felix didn't want to make things difficult for that upright guy.

The next day, in an airport parking lot, Felix sat in the passenger seat of his car, gazing forlornly at Averill, who was gripping the steering wheel.

"Are you really not coming with me to Azuria, Averill?"

The time had come to fulfill the Miracle Card. While he had a Speed Talisman from Gerald to escape if things went south, Felix couldn't help but worry. He hadn't forgotten the lesson from last time. After all, this was abroad, and he was worried that the Elders' Council might be plotting against him.

The Elders' Council had likely learned from their failure with the Thirteen Aces at the peak of Eastern Mountain. Hence, they wouldn't make the same mistake twice. If they made a move now, it was bound to be lethal. Even with two pieces of Dragonspine, Felix wasn't invincible. His concerns were valid.

"Wow! I didn't think anything would scare you!" Averill teased. "I'm already doing you a favor by seeing you off. Unless..."

Felix's eyes lit up with hope. "Unless what? Averill, just say it!"

"Unless we have a little fun here in the car first. Your Land Rover's spacious enough, and I'm open to all kinds of positions. If you agree, I'll go with you to Azuria."

Startled by the outrageous suggestion, Felix quickly waved his hands. He almost opened the car door to escape. "No way! You'll probably pretend not to know me afterward. Forget it. I'll go alone."

With Gerald's orders in place and Averill's unpredictable personality, Felix dared not gamble.

Though embarrassed, Garrett understood. The situation ultimately stemmed from his own family, so he couldn't blame Felix. Hence, he decided not to bring it up again.

About ten minutes later, Felix stared out of the window, feeling a sense of unprecedented solitude wash over him. It was his first time traveling abroad, and the unknown ahead weighed heavily on his mind.

Breaking the silence, he turned toward Garrett and asked, "Mr. Rothwell, I just have one question. What's your elder brother's status in Azuria?"
