The Rise of a Master: It Starts With Rejection -
Billionaire With Husband 569
Chapter 569
"We're here. The person is inside," the woman said, gesturing toward a small wooden cabin as they emerged from the forest.
Felix nodded. "Alright."
Although Felix spoke calmly, he immediately extended his senses toward the cabin, scanning its interior. A moment later, he realized it was completely empty. Almost simultaneously, a powerful gust of wind surged toward him. Felix's instincts kicked in, and he swiftly leaped back, his body retreating at lightning speed. But the danger wasn't over. Another ambush came from behind, forcing him to spin
around and unleash a strike.
The ground beneath him shattered with a boom, and Felix was pushed back several dozen yards before stopping at the cabin's doorway.
"After the Dexter Grimshaw incident, our Elders' Council has started taking you seriously. We even sent the two of us, but it seems we still underestimated you!"
The speaker was a middle-aged man who stood beside the woman who had guided Felix here. Her face now twisted into a sinister smile.
"Well; well, you truly are the miracle doctor's apprentice. At such a young age, you've already reached the Aetherial Realm. We might have suffered greatly if we had assumed you were still at the Innate Realm."
The Aetherial Realm was a major breakthrough beyond the Innate Realm. Felix had only recently ascended to it after absorbing the Dragonspine from the Shadowdragon Warlord.
"So, this really was a setup by the Elders' Council. You even wasted a Miracle Card for this,' Felix said, his posture relaxed and confident, showing no fear of the two before him.

"Kid, reaching the Aetherial Realm might have caught us off guard earlier. Otherwise, our ambush would have already left you dead. But do you really think you can survive this?" the woman taunted, her laughter ringing out.
"Haha! Let me tell you something. Both of us have reached the peak of the Aetherial Realm. Taking down a novice like you won't be difficult. However, if you surrender now, we might take you back to the Elders' Council for judgment. Who knows? They might spare your life."
Felix scoffed, standing with his hands behind his back.
"You two are nothing but clowns. You hate my master, yet you're too afraid to confront him directly. Instead, you resort to underhanded schemes against his apprentice. Don't you find that pathetic?"

Chapter 569
The duo's attack had indeed been ruthless, with no wasted words or hesitation. If Felix had still been at the Innate Realm, he would have surely perished in the initial strike.
The woman was particularly dangerous. Even after spending over 20 minutes with her, Felix hadn't sensed she was a martial artist, likely due to some forbidden technique she practiced.
"You can say whatever you want. It's true we don't dare trouble the miracle doctor himself. But don't you wonder how we knew you'd come here without any backup?"
Felix frowned. It was true. They were clearly aware that he had nine senior apprentices, each a formidable individual. Even excluding his master, just one of his senior apprentices could handle this situation. Yet, they seemed utterly unconcerned about such a possibility. "Confused? Take that confusion with you to hell. I love seeing people die with unresolved questions!" the woman sneered.
As the last word fell, the duo's aura flared, and they vanished from sight.
"You think you can kill me? It won't happen today! It won't be me who dies-it'll be both of you," Felix declared.
With a sharp movement, Felix disappeared as well. What the pair failed to notice was that Felix now held a device in his hand. He pressed a button on it before vanishing.
"Honey, how is this kid so fast? Aetherial Realm shouldn't allow for such speed."
