Madeline smiled without saying anything. Forget her marriage to Luke. She knew well that even the pasta business would not have been this smooth without Felix's help.

Starting a business meant dealing with countless officials and stakeholders. Only Luke's sister's connections made it so easy. And those conveniences did not fall from the sky- they came through Felix. "Maddy, you should go. I'll head to the airport myself," Felix said.

Felix's sudden words seemed odd to Madeline until she spotted someone approaching aggressively. "Okay. I'm planning to visit Canraville in a few days. We'll meet up with Jack then."

Almost as soon as Madeline left, Asher stood before Felix with cold eyes. "Come with me!" Despite the commanding tone, Felix remained calm. "Are we that close?"

Asher tried to grab him. It was impressive that he had reached the Ultimate Mortal Realm at such a young age, but he was no match for Felix. When Asher's arm was caught, his whole body became immobilized. "Get lost! Try that again, and I won't be so nice."

With bloodshot eyes, Asher roared, "Damn it! Are you heartless? Uncle Victor is dead! Even if you wouldn't speak to him while alive, can't you at least visit his grave now and let his spirit rest in peace?"

Felix shook his head. "He's a stranger to me. Why should I visit his grave? Asher, do you think your love and care for Victor existed since you were a baby?" Asher froze in confusion.

"Your feelings come from later interactions when you experienced his kindness and care for you. Without those, would you feel sad at all when he died?" Felix pointed to a distant passerby, and his voice grew colder as he said, "If that person had an accident, would you grieve?"

Asher fell silent. He finally understood what Felix meant. He seemed to have no right to demand anything.

"Don't bother me again," Felix said bluntly.

While watching Felix leave, Asher was speechless. He was right. What was the point of giving birth to a child if Victor could not raise him and take care of him?

"Do you need something from me?"

The woman smiled as if to make herself appear friendly and kind. "I'm here to deliver something to you on someone's behalf."

She handed him a letter. After taking it, Curtis' expression grew complex. He did not notice the woman leaving as his eyes were fixated on the word "Spring" on the envelope. "You've finally appeared," Curtis muttered.
